Once Upon an Eid: Stories of Hope and Joy by 15 Muslim Voices

This was our group read for the #allyathon readathon. This book is not just about Eid - its about different cultures and there was so much representation in this book! This was a good opportunity for the authors to do that and they took FULL advantage of it. The full page illustrations are beautiful! I wish the graphic novel chapter was longer! The stories were thought provoking and image inducing 5 stars!

Wonderful collection of Eid stories I want to have translated into German, so I can share it with Family and Friends. I never know I missed to have an Eid story book until I started to read this collection. As much as I love Eid and always try to make it special I forgot how giddy I felt as a child and this book remembered me of it. It has a special place in my heart and shelf now. A big thank you to the all the authors❤️
