If you follow the instructions (it's all pictures so there is some guess work and common sense involved), the desk will be built real well. There are pre-drilled holes for all of the mounting hardware (screws, dowels, rails, etc.). Also, when you mount the rails, they go on the bottom of the panels that they are mounted to. You will see the predrilled holes there and it will also show it in the instructions (although it's a bit hard to see on the instruction manual). I don't know why anyone would try to mount the rails to the side of the panels considering these are compressed particle boards, common sense should've been enough to know now to mount the rails there and to mount it on the predrilled holes underneath the boards.Look at the instructions carefully, put together without screwing anything what you will be assembling first so you can see the orientation and make sure everything is facing the right way, THEN after everything is confirmed correct, screw it together.

The only desk i found that was the right size and color with a keyboard tray. The description made no comment of this tray but the photo clearly showed one. It's perfect! I am referring to the black desk, NOT the white one. The white one is totally different.

I’ve used this desk for a while, it’s really easy to setup and nice style, I always have a good mood to use it for my working. I am happy to have it. My little boy likes to do writing and painting on this desk too!!!

I like this computer desk. It’s a small computer desk and perfect size to fit in some space left over in my bedroom. We spent 3 hours putting it together,it turned out to be a nice looking desk. I like having a drawer for small things, a keyboard drawer, and an upper deck for a lamp or small printer. And it matched my chair

We were looking for a small desk to fill a space in our closet and this worked out perfectly. Since we just finished putting IKEA furniture together I felt the instructions were great. The only thing I started getting mixed up on is when I had to put the drawer together. That was the only image I was not sure of at first. As far as some of the assembly that had to be done, I wish the tracks were already attached. There was grease on the tracks for the keyboard tray and it got all on my hands when I separated the tracks for assembly. Overall this was a great product for the price and I would recommend this product.

This was kind of easy to put together but all instructions are just pictures with very little printed words. It's perfect for a desk set up in my small room. I work from home and use 2 large monitors and it fits them perfectectly.

The desk is the perfect size, color and design I was looking for and it fits perfectly where I wanted/needed it to. It arrived on time, it was packaged well, nothing was broken/missing and it was relatively easy to put together. It is very sturdy, it has plenty of storage and tons of space for supplies and office/desk related necessities as well as plenty of room to spread out over the desktop work area. I do have 2 complaints though; the drawer is poorly constructed in that it does not fit properly, it does not glide smoothly and it is noticeably crooked/uneven/jiggly - it is a noticeable "eyesore" and a design flaw because the rollers are set correctly in the pre drilled holes so there is no other way to assemble it. My 2nd complaint is that the pull out shelf, intended for the keyboard/the area you would type from, is insanely, ridiculously too short and does not allow for sufficient enough space to accommodate a keyboard or notebook. It is clearly also a design flaw because the shelf only pulls out (not even) half way so you can't even fit a keyboard on it, much less something larger/heavier such as a notebook, laptop, etc. That is beyond frustrating because the desktop itself is way too high to type from comfortably. Overall, I love the desk itself but I have to figure out how to re-configure the pull out shelf to actually pull out far enough to use because, due to what space the pre drilled holes allow, the shelf is useless and inconvenient. This issue is also concerning as only half of my notebook fits on the shelf so it's constantly falling off. I am unsure if this is a manufacturer defect only on the desk I received or a general design flaw altogether but, hopefully the manufacturer will correct these issues because otherwise, it's a great little desk.

This is the perfect size desk for my needs. I am not using it for a computer so the keyboard drawer allows me great access to my study tools. The side shelves hold my notebooks and texts. The side drawer is deep enough for me to store my calculator charger, and other spare equipment I do not use daily.Assembly! I always think that my DIY skills are better than they are. Many projects have resulted in several trips to my favorite hardware store. Some, yes, more than one, have ended up in the emergency room. This desk denied me the pleasure of relating my latest DIY mishap. The video offered better instruction than the enclosed diagram. All the parts were there. With a bit of assistance from an old drill given to me by my Dad, they fit together well. It took me longer than many of the other reviewers, OK, all the other reviewers. But since I factored in "Hardware and Hospital" to my schedule, it was significantly less than I planned. Even a harsh judge of my former projects had to admit this is a winner.So, I am pleased.
