I have two of these stands and I have the silicone and leather apple 12 Pro Max cases. Both of these cases holds perfectly on both of the stands I purchased. The hinges are extremely tight and work in any position I put it in.

This case strikes me as SUPER sturdy and strong. It easily holds my iPhone 13 Pro without any problems. I believe it could easily take more weight and still stay fixed wherever you set the bend height to.
