Exactly what was needed for installing panels in the ceiling and doors

This seems like a quality part and it fit perfectly for holding up my headliner. However, the part description says "dark gray". Definitely not dark. It is a light gray, or medium gray at best (see picture). I used a sharpy to color the head black and it matches the headliner color much better.

these plugs must be pushed in and will not come out easily once pushed all the way in. Use a rubber hammer to pound them in. To remove them, you must pull strongly. Once removed, the ribbed edges will no longer be able to secure the plug in the hole. be sure to use them carefully because they most likely will not be usable a second or third time.

These worked great in my 96 Ford Ranger. There is no way to "save" the old ones, I discovered. The only problem is that this color is a bit darker than standard Ford gray, at least for 96. I happened to have some correct colored plastic spray paint, so I used that which worked fine.
