Be careful
When this arrived the back section did not sit vertically upwards, i.e., when you looked at the chair the back appeared to be veering towards the right and not sitting perpendicular to the base (seat) of the chair. The company wanted me to take pictures and all that nonsense, but I wasn't having that carry on - life's too short and it should have been right in the first place. It had to go back! Eventually got money back.

Do not buy it
This chair is one of the most annoying chairs I ever had.. My previous chair broke and got this one in order to replace it. I thought being expensive means it's sturdy and well designed.Anyway, the chair is rocky and squeaky now. The arms are flimsy and rocky as well, it's like the whole thing is falling apart. I tried re-tightening the screws but the very bad use of bolts made it impossible for me to do so, the screw driver would not turn them at all.I am very disappointed with this product and would NOT recommend it for you.

Good supportive chair, easy to assemble
I spend hours at my desk so wanted a decent chair. Pleased with this one which seems well made and with good back support. A few notes:Assembly is very easy; the mechanics are pre-assembled and all you have to do is to plug in the castors and central post, screw on the backrest, and slide in the arms. The backrest screws are tightened using the supplied allen key though this is a shallow fit in the screws so just slightly awkward.Instructions not too good for the arms. There is a lever not mentioned which you must slide to the inside position for fitting. Note also that there are plastic rails in the armrest slider; one of mine came out and I had to put it back carefully before sliding in the arm. Once fitted, you push in a clip (incorrectly described as a screw) and then move the lever towards the outside of the seat to secure the arm. Not really difficult, but it would have done no harm to give correct assembly instructions.Arms are slightly loose but still secure if you see what I mean, and quite nice to have.Once assembled, you have several controls. To tilt the backrest, there is a lever on the right which you move upwards to adjust the angle. Once correct, move the lever down to lock. There is also a tilt lever on the left. To use this, move the lever up then tilt the seat back, if you prefer a seat that tips back slightly. Move the lever down again to lock. There is also a height lever on the right. This works in the normal way, pull up, let the chair rise to where you want it, then release to lock.Adjusting the height of the backrest I found slightly awkward and it is only explained on the website. Here goes:"Other chairs have ratchet backs by lifting the back the ratchet mechanism will click into place and the backrest will be held into position. There are several ratchet points on each back, once the top point is reached the back will go back down to its lowest position."So now you know.Overall, a very decent chair and happy with the value for money. Docked one star for slightly wobbly arms and barely adequate instructions.

Most comfortable chair I have had
Every ergonomic adjustment you could wish for, study and robust, does exactly what it is supposed to do.I bought this for work as I was fed up with the cheap rubbish we get supplied with in the NHS, and this was Cheaper !

Awful! I bought this because I've got a bad back. It's very difficult to adjust to get comfy and I wish I'd never bought it.
