method laundry detergent

It took me a few months to wrap my mind around the Water Saver Washing Machines.And the reality that you can do loads of laundry with just a capful of this detergent.But a capful is really all you need for most loads.(Or 2-3 capfuls if it's a particularly large or heavily soiled loads.)If you're cognizant of keeping your fabric fibers unclogged by regular detergents?THIS PRODUCT IS PERFECT.SMELLS PERFECT if you prefer the "brand new from store" smell of clothes.No chemical smells. No scented Fabreeze caliber garbage. You won't smell like a cologne fiend.BEST FEATURE: No need for fabric softener.I've been using Method on loads of towels for months now, using only this detergent and no softener.Towels come out super soft. And I'm not getting any static cling.If you have an electric dryer, you should never use the fabric sheets, as the waxy residue burns out the hearing coils.My machine lacks fabric softener release functions.Just the savings from Not buying softeners, not having to add softener mid cycle, AND not buying as many specialty detergents makes this product a really great value.

I'm writing this in May of 2025 as supply chain issues are starting to make themselves known here and there. It's not like there are endless stores/storefronts where I can easily get this particular "flavor" of method laundry soap, either -- even in more normal times. (Rant about the hegemony of Tide in the world of big laundry, deleted.) Anyway, sadly, I may have to switch to a less loved free-and-clear brand for my household's needs, at least for awhile. Value is always a consideration.But all things being equal, this is my favorite brand. It isn't perfumed, but doesn't smell weird. I can put it on the wire shelving in my laundry without worrying that it's too heavy, but it's still full sized in the sense that it's 66 loads. (Actually, more for me. I pour about 2/3rds of the way to the line, do a vinegar rinse -- because fabric softener is just coating your washables in plastic! -- and everything comes out soft and fresh smelling.)I look forward to a (near! please) future reunion with this product.

I have no complaints with this detergent, but I'm a little old lady who doesn't get very dirty anymore.It is unscented, as advertised.I ordered in hopes it was dispensed with a pump as Method dish soap is. It is not.

What can I say? This laundry detergent, cleans and handles just about everything I throw at it in the way of stains. I have allergies so I do not like overly scented soaps, etc. & it’s great in HE machines.

I love that this is free and clear and natural. Keeps my clothes clean and I put it in buckets of hot water and clean my entire house with it.
