Earl Diamond Super Heavy Duty Drill Chuck 1/2" Capacity with MT2 Morse Taper 2 Arbor & K32 Key (B16)

The stock chuck in my Porter Cable PCB660DP was never that great to begin with (runout) and over the years started clamping unevenly. I worked around it by unclamping/reclamping the bit and it was good enough for woodworking. Lately I've gotten into metal working and need a DP with mill-like accuracy. A relatively cheap, big-box store drill press isn't a mill and has a lot more driveline slop.Bought this chuck and arbor combo based on the reviews, to just replace the entire stock assembly and it was a good gamble. Arbor comes packed in it's own hard plastic sleeve and the chuck well-greased up in a plastic bag. Quality of both is very good. Surfaces are clean, smooth and free of tooling marks. The chuck is a little stiff to open/close, but it will loosen up with use.Overall, I think this is a great value.

Acabo de comprar un mini-torno grizzly pero los tacaños de grizzly no me agregaron el broquero asi que tuve que comprar éste, el cual quedo a la perfeccion en mi nuevo torno, aun no lo he probado pero si se ve que es de muy buena caldad, esperemos que asi sea.

Good beginner chuck for the hobby machinist.

Using in my vertical mill. Chuck has a very good grip range and holds the smallest bits well. Runs true and tightens easily. Would definitely buy again.
