Superb!
Can’t live without it. I don’t use the gas/electric stove anymore.

Died 6 months later
Worked fine for 6 months, popped after cooking (once turned off) then never worked again. No way to get money back or repair 🥵

I was looking for an alternative to a frying pan, due to the cleaning up required after use. I had for quite some time been looking at various products out there. I do sometimes like a cooked breakfast, or a couple of bacon rolls in the morning. I wanted a product that was big enough to cater for a reasonably sized breakfast, and this definitely does the job. I can cook a full breakfast on it, it cooks to perfection, eggs are fantastic on this machine, and you don’t need to flip them, the yoke will cook, even sunny side up!. The non stick surface is fantastic, you can move eggs around the hot plate, they don’t stick to it. It is a very high quality piece of kit, it’s certainly in a different league to your George Foreman’s, and this is reflected in the price. Cleanup’s are a doddle with easily removed plates, a sponge and a bit of hot soapy water is all that’s required. Unlike the George Foreman, this is a sizeable machine that you’ll want to keep permanently on your worktop, it won’t easily fit into a kitchen cupboard. Other reviewers have commented that it’s a bit pricey, it’s actually come down in price by about £50.00. Unlike the George Foreman, this isn’t a machine that you’ll use a few times, and then it’ll be consigned to the darkest depths of a cupboard, you’ll want to use the Smart Grill Pro all the time. Are there any con’s about this machine?. I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about it, it’s a well designed, well engineered grill, and I think it’s worth every penny of the £300.00 price. If you just want something that’s high quality, and cooks to perfection, then you won’t be disappointed.

This is brilliant and exactly what I was wanting. Pros Can be used as a toaster or open flat like a BBQ One flat and one ribbed plate makes best of both worlds Love the height adjuster so that it doesn't squash things flat. Very easy to clean and love the fact the plates detach and can go in dishwasher Very easy to adjust the temperature with no guess work as to how hot it is as it displays the temperature and beeps when at correct temp Cons Seems the flat grill heats up faster and hotter than the ribbed one One side of the plate is hotter than the other only slightly but very obvious when cooking things but a rotating food around is fine. steep in price Conclusion Although expensive it's well worth the money and is a very sturdy machine, that is so easy to clean. It cooks everything well and not had one complaint from the family.

Have been looking at this since it came out and finally decided to go for it. The price was my only concern, but so glad I did, I have only had it a few days but very pleased with it to date. I cooked steak the first time, used the probe and selected well done. The steak was perfect, very slightly pink in the middle but no juices running out. I then used the flat plate with the grill in the open position and cooked eggs and bacon. I flipped the egg after the white had set and finished off the yolk that way, it was runny in the middle, but if left a little longer it would set if preferred that way. It was very easy to clean afterwards, plates are interchangeable and removable to put on top rack of dishwasher if wanted. I didn't need to do that as they wiped clean with a soft sponge. The controls are easy to understand and height settings also easy. The final test for me will be pork steaks and perhaps pancakes on the flat plate, I'm sure I won't be disappointed!!

Its a very well designed product. Very easy to use. And great for a single man cooking on his own that wants minimum mess, easy to use and clean. Which it is. The one small flaw I have is that the back of the removable griil plates have this black coating/paint. After a month of using it - the paint starts to come off. Not in flakes but in a black solution - as you dry the plates after use the dish cloths go literally black. I then scrubbed them in the sink and the water left in the bowl went completely black. This made me think about this soluble paint getting into my food and into my body. Didn't make me feel great about the product after that. Perhaps I'm being petty. What did I do in the end? I scrubbed all the black paint off - took ages. And will carry on using the grill. Still feel a bit weird about it. Maybe I will make a warranty claim.
