After several weeks of using this, I notice that my pores really do look smaller and my skin feels tighter, but still soft on my face. I don’t know if I even need this product to be honest, I’m under 35 and look younger than my age. I still have enjoyed using it since I received it for free through the Vine program.

I have dry, mature skin. I don't love the way it looks or feels even though I take pretty good care of my facial skin. It is what it is.I started using City Beauty Dermal Reset Exfoliating Concentrate almost a month ago. This stuff does work, so be patient. It is very gentle to my skin so I didn't really start seeing improvement until I approached the 30 day mark. The texture is improved, and really noticeable when I wear foundation which usually picks up all my flaws. My cosmetics go on much smoother and look much better. Without makeup my skin doesn't look as ashy looking; I have a healthier looking complexion.There are some great ingredients in this exfoliating concentrate. I have some mild rosacea which usually means I can’t really tolerate anything that exfoliates but this is gentle and a good fit for me.

I would like to start by saying I have insanely sensitive skin and even my dermatologist gives me the smallest dose of Retin-A to use when I use it and then only once a week and I can sometimes work up to twice. Crazy sensitive. I can honestly say that this product did not burn my face up!It does not have a whole lot of scent to it which is nice and I started out by using this once a week than twice a week and have worked up to 3 days a week now. I do notice some nice exfoliating properties but I don't have the burning or the redness associated with what usually happens with exfoliators. Gentle is key for me and that is what I would call this. It is a nice job of sloughing off the dead skin and it's pretty soothing. It definitely helps with makeup application so I don't have that. Obviously dry ashy part underneath. Isn't aging wonderful? I really do like this product?

In sum, this product for me, although it felt nice - I wasn’t “wowed.” And for the price point, I think there are better options out there.I waited almost a month after getting this product before writing my review, just in case I ended up noticing a difference from my normal skin care routine by adding this in. I actually did not, so I don’t see a reason to reorder. That being said, if you don’t already have a routine in place - this product may be a good option for you as it does exfoliate nicely.My normal night time routine is to SOMETIMES use a toner, and then an exfoliator (I replaced my other one with this one) and then I use a variety of serums, ending with a moisturizer. Once a week I use a microdermabrasion suction with a diamond tip, and it pulls all the dead skin off my face. Using this liquid exfoliator, I did not see a reduction in the skin in my weekly microdermabrasion.You can tell this is a quality product - the spend a lot in the nice packaging and the marketing pictures look great. My skin tolerated it well, a little better than anticipated as my skin is sensitive and prone to acne - even in my late 30s.In sum - after a month I couldn’t tell if it worked, didn’t really notice a difference and I think the cost is very high.I am in my late 30s, white female with very pale skin, sensitive to products and slightly acne prone. I also struggle with hyperpigmentation and melasma.

I have only been using this for about 10 days, so it may be too early to tell but I haven't noticed a major difference yet. I do have tighter pores and my skin feels slightly more taut but I get the same from several serums and creams. I'm looking for any difference that makes this stand out from the rest, especially at this price point. I did feel a slight burning sensation on the very first use but have not felt it since. Other than that first experience, I've felt no discomfort from the product and my skin seems to tolerate it well. My nose is especially sensitive and a quick revealer of poorly formulated or intolerable products. So far, I've had no issues with my nose while using this product. It goes on light and absorbs quickly which is good because I use it at night. So, I can say it's easily tolerated, goes on well and does have effectiveness. Whether that effectiveness eventually justifies the price is still remaining to be seen.
