I'm really impressed by this product. Finally, a bone broth that is free of vegetable, yeast, and flavor additives! The powder is super convenient; I don't have to worry about using up a carton of liquid before it spoils, and can take it while traveling. It's great to sip as one would enjoy tea. I think it is delicious with salt. For those commenting about poor smell/flavor, consider that a significant component of what we attribute flavor to in savory foods is salt, particularly something that is animal-derived. Add a proper amount of salt (as the directions on the bag state) and it is every bit as tasty as other bone broths. If you're expecting the complexity of vegetables and seasoning, consider adding those yourself. But I am extremely grateful that someone has produced a broth without vegetables for those wanting to be purely carnivore, or who may be sensitive to certain plant foods. Bluebird provisions bone broth chicken instant beverage mix. Is great! Mixes just fine use a whisk. With just “dried chicken bone broth” for ingredients , 12g protein. This is the best I have ever found. Great for just sipping or making soups etc. flavor is great too.

I was skeptical of buying because a lot of reviews said this was flavorless. It does not have a very strong flavor like bouillon would. However, adding salt definitely does enhance the flavor and makes it much better. Could add more powder to make the flavor stronger. Mixes well. This is a great product if you’re looking for something with all natural ingredients. I add all natural hand harvested mineral salt to mine so I don’t mind that it doesn’t have added salt. I intend to use this for fasting. Could add flavorless electrolytes to this.

This chicken bone broth took me a bit of time to get used to, but it is definitely growing on me. It has many uses but I mainly have it as a pick-me-up with a pinch of salt or and a small amount of nutritional yeast flakes when the weather is cold. It is appealing to me that it only has one ingredient.

If you enjoy bone broth, know its amazing benefits, and you can't make your own, this is an awesome substitute. ONE INGREDIENT. I've seen several reviews saying how it has no taste, or not a pleasant taste, and that it clumps up when trying to mix it. My opinion- The taste is amazing, it is rich, and flavorful, and I always add salt. I am on a high fat carnivore diet, and I need the added salt. If you are eating a standard american diet, you probably cannot afford (healthwise) to add the salt, so it probably will taste a little bland to you, but adding salt is the kicker for taste. You can always add other spices or herbs to enhanced the taste, like oregano, parsley, or basil. When adding the hot water, it does clump up a bit. But I don't mind because it is ONE CLEAN INGREDIENT and it is worth the time it takes for me to press the spoon against the clumps, against the side of the mug to get them to break up and dissolve better, it only takes about a minute of stirring, and pressing to get the clumps to dissolve. I guess if you are used to the instant gratification of other bone broth powders that contain anti-clumping agents which, in my opinion, completely defeats the purpose of buying an organic, clean product - then this is probably not for you. But if you are serious about buying products with clean ingredients, that might be a little bit more inconvenient to prepare, but it's worth it for your health, then definitely get this one.

Having this chicken bone broth powder auto-shipped every 2 weeks, I can’t imagine what I would do without it. My day begins with a cup and ends with a cup. I have given it as a gift 3 times. It’s wonderful with some garlic, lime juice and salt and I highly recommend it for home and travel. Due to my many food allergies, I’m thankful to find this amazing product!

I love that the product is natural and has no additives, however, the flavor is subtle but I was not fond of the little taste it did have. I tried boiling celery and carrots with the broth and that was much more tolerable for sipping. I use it for cooking and it gets lost with all of the other flavors. I would maybe repurchase if it wasn't so expensive.

Tried it upon arrival. I'm a fan. It's definitely unique for my tastes but in a good way.

The product is fine. I don`t use the recommended ratio of two tablespoons of powder to one cup of boiled water. The taste is a bit severe. I use a little less than half that ratio of powder to water. You will have to add some salt and some dried herbs like oregano or thyme in order to enjoy the flavour. You do need to keep in mind expiry (best before) dates if your buying more than one pouch from Amazon. The website from which you can buy this product directly has higher pricing than here. I assumed when I purchased that the seller is selling stock that is closer to expiring on this website. I didn`t mind because this was my first purchase and I was trying it out only. The pouch that I just purchased has an expiry of a little over 6 months away. This is fine, but if you go on the website where you can get the stuff directly from the supplier, it says that each package has a 2 year shelf life. That being said, I would be careful of ordering too many of these pouches at once unless you are sure you will consume them within about 6 months. I felt the lower price and free shipping on Amazon prime was worth it when trying out the product. I do recommend the product. After 2 days, my joints already feel loosened, I have less digestion discomfort, and I am sleeping better. I will update this post with additional information over the coming weeks.

I'm sorry to say that this product is just not for me. Even though I did what others have suggested, adding salt and spices, it just doesn't work for my taste buds. And my stomach just wasn't happy with it either.
