I haven’t had the opportunity to hit the waves with this item yet…but this isn’t my first body board either. For the money this is going for, you can’t beat it. Great board for this kind of price point. This is a great way to get in the hobby on a very low budget to see if this is something you want to stick with. Great slick bottom, great strap, all around great board. I would buy this 10Xs over.

I ordered two of these boards for my kids. They held up very well and seem to be good quality. The kids were having so much fun, I ended up using it for a bit. They held a 200lbs man with no problem. Definitely recommend. The only minor issue are colors of the board are a little weak but the performance of the board is strong.

I have used a more expensive Morey boogie board for years. It was cheaper to buy this than to ship the Morey to my vacation destination. I was hoping it would be good--I was pleasantly surprised. It is big enough and broad enough to plane easily on small waves. Great for beginners. But it is also stiff enough, and has good enough edges, to make great carves--good for intermediate/advanced boarders. The leash is fine--no need to replace with a better leash. All in all, a great value.

See my initial review below. Amazon did not honor this through their A-Z Guarantee Program. SBBC contacted me and we worked out a satisfactory resolution. I appreciate their customer service response. Thank you SBBC!I purchased a bodyboard for my six-year-old granddaughter. When received, it was too big so I returned it. The total cost was $49 plus tax for a total of $51.94. I expected a full refund and was SHOCKED when South Bay Board Company offered $.66 (yes, 66 cents)!!!! When I contacted Amazon and South Bay, South Bay said the return shipment cost was $48.38! I went back and forth between Amazon and SB for a full refund. SB said they couldn't do anything since "Amazon is not letting us process the rest of the refund" and Amazon refused to cover it under their A-to-Z guarantee. Amazon initially denied it, I appealed it and they updated my refund to $2.90!!!!! I am out the $51.94 AND the bodyboard to add insult to injury. I would have kept the bodyboard until my granddaughter was older or given it to someone had I known I would be penalized TWICE. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, this is horrendous service on the part of South Bay Board Company and Amazon.

Bought two of these for a trip to San Diego. They are great quality. We noticed the boardwalk shops selling boogie boards that looked like straight styrofoam for the same price. We had three teenage boys just graduated from high school and bought the biggest boards. They held up well. Very pleased with my purchase.

We put a XM Leash and a $10.00 plastic handle on it for him and he RIPS on it.He's 10, about 54" tall and 95 pounds and the board has plenty of float for him. No problem picking off waves. Good deal for the price.
