I have 2 Lavender Americana hens that I can't tell apart. My granddaughter has names picked out but we can't tell who's who. Now we can!!! Violet has a purple bracelet. LOL!!I only needed one leg band. I've never used one before, but it was very easy to put on my girl. They don't snap together, rather they slide together. It seemed very secure and I doubt that it will ever come off. And she doesn't even notice it's there. So it's a win-win!!The bands are a soft plastic. They're rigid, but still easily bendable. I didn't have a problem with the size as it fit just fine. There was lots of extra room for it to move around freely. It was easy for me to put on without any additional assistance. I just laid her on my lap on her side, and put the band on. I hated to buy a pack of 50 for just one single band, but you got to do what you got to do! Lol! Now we can name them both and be able to tell them apart.

I had been using those metal leg bands on my hands and they kept digging into them and causing injury to their legs. Not to mention that they were hard to put on and hard to take off. These are perfect. They are easy to install. they are comfortable for the hens, even the ones with very thick legs. They can’t causing any injuries as far as I can tell. And it makes the girls easy to identify I can write their names on the bands.My only recommendation to the manufacturer would be that the yellow is hard to see because it just blends into the leg. Even white would be more visible. So a wider variety of options especially darker ones are recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Very happy with this product. Easy to clip on and I have not had 1 fall off yet. Multiple colors to choose from.Would of liked a smaller quantity option. Overall good purchase!

We put them on chickens so we could tell them apart

I’m so angry these are crap. I didn’t dare put these on my birds. You can’t get them to close and then when you finally do there’s no way you would ever be able to get them off an ankle. The return process wasn’t working so now I get to deal with Amazon. I’m over the problems

They are smaller than expected. Will only fit baby chicks. Very hard to close, need two people to put on chicks because you have to slide it up on the groove, they don’t snap together. No chick will sit still long enough for that. Disappointed because I am stuck with them…NO REFUNDS! Did not see that😪
