You would think that in a town of 40,000 people it would be possible to find some copper lugs. Nope, not happening. I ordered this kit from Amazon and with Prime it showed up in two days. I made the cable I needed in a matter of minutes. Everything worked great. It took longer for me to drive to several supply houses and a couple of big box stores than it did for me to order and make the electrical cable I needed. I questioned the price as maybe too cheap, poor quality. Though I don't do this professionally and I will use this occasionally, I spent more on gas looking for lugs than this kit with extra lugs and shrink wrap and even a crimper. This is a deal for me.

The tool worked great. The cooper rings are cheap

Used it to crimp connectors to 6 AWG THHN wire to a mini split condenser. The connections tightened well, but only after I used the next smaller size to really compress them. The heat shrink shrunk as expected but it would be nice if there was the green (ground) colored heat shrink too. There’s only red and black. I used my Amazon points with this purchase, so my overall cost was less than half of their original asking price and the kit was delivered in less than 24 hours. Overall, it was well worth the purchase of this kit to make professional factory grade connections exactly like those already on the condenser unit. See photos.

If you're adding connections to the end of your electrical wires this is THE tool. Easy to use. Makes a strong connection. Not small or compact, but that's why it works so well. I was being careless and almost train pushed a 300ah lithium battery off a table to the floor. The battery was saved by the terminal wire made with this crimping tool. No I don't recommend hanging a battery from your work bench to save storage space.

Great quality easy to use works great

Good crimper but the terminals are junk. Extremely thin metal plus half of it is cut for the end of the wire area. Why bother with heavy battery cables if the connectors are this flimsy? Will not buy again.

Although it works just fine. The sizes are not correct for what’s actually needed so the crimps are squeezed sideways.

Easy to use, great product

The crimping tool is good. The lugs are not copper and there were no heat shields! Now need to buy separately.
