I bought this to replace the plug on a heavy-duty 2.5mm extension lead, and I'm very happy with it. It's properly tough, was straightforward to wire, and has held up brilliantly through all the DIY jobs I've thrown at it. It feels solid and well made rather than like a cheaper replacement that might struggle with heavy use. There's not really much more to say, it fitted, wired up easily and has done exactly what I needed it to do. Sometimes a product just works, and this is one of those. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

I've got to say these plugs are very very good. They are solid as a rock. They do the job for heavy duty obviously but I would say that when you're wiring these there's a little plastic sort of thing that gets in the way of the live. Now that is a pain in the bum and I suggest you just rip that bit out because you can't get all the wires in especially if you're using 2.5 mm wire. You can't get all the wires in with that little nubby bit sticking up. But overall I'm very happy with this. And have used loads of them so...

Great for outside, workshop or garage... Rubber but is more like hard plastic. As with all plugs if you are confident then wiring is just like any other UK plugs. Value I’d say is about right
