The Derale 20561 is the first direct-fit transmission cooler designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler TJ/YJ models (1987-2006). Installs great with nicely written instructions
Installed in a 1999 TJ left hand drive with the 32RH three speed automatic transmission. As I had already installed an aftermarket aluminum radiator the final hose connection for the transmission lines was slightly different to the instructions written for an OEM radiator, but no real problem. Frees up air flow to my radiator and AC condenser which was obstructed by my previous mounting of a transmission cooler behind the grill and in front of the AC condenser, now my radiator and AC condenser have better throughput of airflow keeping them cooler.
