My fridge had a major issue this part failed on my original refrigerator and our repair man suggested this on amazon and we rushed ordered this part and it saved my fridge full of food in the freezer part too so THANK YOU SO MUCH AMAZON FOR SAVING MY FOOD and all the money food costs now adays THANKS

Our Frigidaire refrig with 2 upper frig doors and freezer on the bottom is the best unit we've ever owned in so many ways that when it went "warm" and the first blush comment from one repairer was, "It's a goner!", we were very disappointed! Then a fellow Toastmaster and handy guy extraordinaire consulted with me on the phone, took all my specs, emailed the next day with some videos for me to watch and then do some troubleshooting diagnostics and call him back. That done, he came over with a tool I didn't have and we continued the process of elimination until we gave our best guess that the part mentioned above item seemed the likely culprit. We ordered it, it came in 2 days and this amazing man came that night. It took some time to actually get the part in place properly then, as we ate a delicious dinner together, the frig headed back "down" to its prime temps! I left the frig empty overnight and by morning, yesterday, I was able to replace all products we had been living off of out of coolers for the past 4 days! I am so hard pressed to ever "throw anything away" because THERE IS NO AWAY! To be able to repair and reuse, especially these large items, is one of the most rewarding experiences I know. Thank you OEM for making these parts. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Had a fridge quit working. The fan blade came off so I repaired that but was assuming it dried this because I figured it ran too much trying to cool the fridge. Thankfully I received this part, installed it and my expensive fridge works like a champ!

a refrigerator, like and air conditioner, needs a controller for the compressor. It goes out far more frequently than the compressor. I found a youtube video. I tested the system, and this was the part that proved to have failed. This part was IDENTICAL to the failed part. It fit in the same place exactly. I give installation a lower score because of the placement of it on the refrigerator. it was a B**** to get out and a B**** to get in. It is apparent the unit was failing before it went out because Ice production, water cooling is MUCH better now. So yes, it is great. Just as described. Saving yourself $2-$500 is easy.
