After reading the product description I thought it sounded perfect for him seeing as he bounces on his sisters ...
Got this for my son for Christmas this year. He JUST turned 3 on December 5th. After reading the product description I thought it sounded perfect for him seeing as he bounces on his sisters purple bounce ball. Such a DISAPPOINTMENT. The idea is cute and perhaps we just got unlucky and got one not made properly. The image on the description is far from what we got. Once inflated, even if it's inflated till its hard, it NEVER fills the dinosaur cover. So it's loose and shifts every time my son sits on it. It's also rediculously TOO small for him so the fact that it's supposed to be ideal for ages 3-5 is inaccurate and unrealistic. It absolutely 100% does NOT bounce. It's fun for him to sit on and bop up and down alittle but to actually bounce he has to literally hold the handles and yank up on every bounce. This was a huge disappointment that I can't even return because it was supposed to be from Santa.

Nice size for an average 2 year old girl
My daughter loves horses and such so this was cute for her. She loves it but only stationary bounces so far. I suspect when she sees her older brother on his hop ball from this company (Blue with an elephant on it) she will figure out how to move and bounce. Her brother has had his hopper for about 3 years, uses it frequently and it's still going strong so I suspect Mr. Jones the horse will be durable as well. I like the soft cover. A portion of the rubber handles was discolored with green but it's not a huge deal, just for the price it I'd expect it to be brown as my son's was 15.00 or less but this was like 32.00. Make sure to put the inflated ball inside the cover before blowing up even half way because it won't fit. Some reviews did mention the saddle being to large but I did not experience this but you do need to keep blowing the thing up so it is super tight in the cover, the cover should not shift around on it at all and be a squeeze to zipper the end shut. My daughter has fallen off a few times and it's the perfect height so that she does not get hurt, just rolls some and gets back on her pony. Personally, I feel the size is too small for a 4 or 5 year old. When bouncing feet should touch the floor with knees slightly bent a bit less then sitting. My daughter does have long legs and height wise could be close to a 3 year old but 4 and 5 might be pushing it. I would recommend the hopper ball my son has from this company for an older child. The design of this ball being bean shaped instead of round and also the type of handles is safer/easier for a toddler in my opinion.

Still Bopping A Year Later
1 year product review of Mr. Jones bouncy horse:A. Durable: no ugly fuzz/pills or tears on material, still appears new. Saddle is too large but doesn’t hobble Mr. Jones’ bouncy nature and the friction from the fabric mostly prevents the oversized saddle from turning around the horse. The plush cover has a little slack, not like the saddle, this makes sense because if it were tight it would tear when in motion. The zipper on the plush cover is located in such a way that it won’t scratch wood floors or snag on low pile carpeting.B. Inside bladder is well-made. One continuous seam in the middle and appears to be solidly constructed. Product came with two plugs, that can be challenging to remove. I found that carefully using a needle-nose pliers after squeezing just below the head of the plug to expose a portion of the plugs neck removes it easily.C. Works great for my 20 month old that’s 32”. My 4 yr old that’s 41” only likes to sit on it because it's too small to bounce, it will fly out from underneath her if she bounces too high or fast.D. Included pump is easy to use and can double as a balloon inflator. Also product comes with instructions that are both colorfully illustrated and written.

THIS IS JUST UNICORN COVER NOT ACTUAL BOUNCER!
So I know what the description says but when my box arrived there was only a unicorn COVER in it for a peanut shaped jumpy ball. I am sure it is really cute when it is on unfortunately I did not have the actual ball as I thought it came with this order. When I contacted for a return, I sent it but no word on any refund yet or return status update so I guess that's one to chalk up to learning my lesson.Just know if you are ordering this that it is only for the COVER and not for the rubber ball or peanut part that actually bounces.

Little small, kids enjoyed it & good energy outlet
I was hoping that using this would get my 2 and 3 year olds off of my foot LOL. They always wanna "play horse" and my calves have had enough! LOL. But anyway, they were only entertained with it for maybe the first 2 days. It was kinda too small for my 3 year old, so understandable why she got bored. But it is still an OK size for my 2 year old, bouncy and firm/material seems nice quality. My only complaint for even him is that it is NOT sturdy whatsoever! I'm not sure I would let a child under 2 play with this, out of fear of them bouncing against something and hitting their heads off the floor or other objects. My 2 year old cannot stay on it for even one bounce, even though he holds the horns, he still flies backwards or forwards and over it when he is coming back down from a high bounce. Because of these reasons, the kids only really used it a day or two, and now it kinda just takes up space. Hoping when my 4 month old can use it, he likes it, otherwise it was a total waste of money! But 2/3 kids recommend a DIFFERENT toy, or maybe the CHILD size hopper instead of the "toddler" size.

Great for tiny cowboys
My 2 y.o. is obsessed with horses and this thing is one of this favorites now. His 6 y.o. brother has to be told to get it off it all the time and every kid that visits has to try it out. My 6 y.o. is about 55-60lbs (tall and lanky) so a little big for his age. For the average size kid this would probably work for kids anywhere from 2 y.o. to 5-6 y.o. The material is soft and it's easy to blow up and assemble. And it's durable. Our kids are NOT easy on toys, but it hasn't died yet.

Zipper and saddle are a problem
Perfect air pressure is the key? Do Not Over inflate they say! There is no way to judge the air pressure. If there is too much air, you can't zip up the cover. If you struggle but get the zipper to close, the zipper will break when the toy is used. If you don't get enough air in it the saddle will not stay on. The velcro straps for the saddle are too long if the air is correct for the zipper to work. Cute toy otherwise, our 3 year grand daughter loves it. Tires her out quick, it's a lot of work to keep it hopping.

Too small for my kids.
It's tiny. Says suitable for upto 5 years.... It's like the size of a standard balloon when blown up.
