Tech Deck Sk8shop 6-Pack

Great kits but some come pretty different then the images.

Got these as a gift for my nephew and he really enjoyed playing with them.

Tech Decks have always been very excellent finger boards, so I wasn't surprised when these turned out to be just as good as I remember! The boards themselves look really sweet, & I've tried doing many tricks on them, treated them rough, & they've held up perfectly so far! I think these are great for skateboard lovers & people who want to try finger boarding, but don't want to spend a lot on their first deck. You do get 3 complete finger boards so if you lose one or if it breaks or anything, you have several back-ups, so it's a very cheap way of getting into that hobby without too much sacrifice. My one complaint is that though there are 5 decks in total, it only comes with enough hardware & trucks for 3 complete finger boards. I imagine the idea was that you can swap out the deck when you get bored of it. Personally, I would rather pay a dollar or two more & get enough hardware & trucks for all 5 boards. I feel like if you did that, it would be a better gift for a group of kids, so that everyone gets a board. Otherwise, great set, very happy with my purchase!

I got these for one of my brothers for Christmas and he loved them. They were just the right size for him to play with.

I truly want to give this Sk8shop Bonus Pack one star but in my haste to purchase a last minute Christmas gift for my 5 year old, I neglected to read the small print and purchased solely on what was visible on the front of the packaging. I've been aware of Tech Deck's for many years and always thought they looked like a cool toy but it wasn't until this Christmas that I actually had a kid old enough to go along with this type of gift. Looking at the packaging alone, I see 6 decks -- one already assembled -- 5 sets of wheels, 2 trucks and a big red call out that states '6 boards included'. This led me to draw the conclusion that my 5 year old would have 6 complete 'decks' to play with on Christmas morning. It wasn't until I peeled back the packaging that I discovered that I'd been had and that '6 boards included' does not mean the same as '6 complete decks included'. Looking at the packaging again sure did make me feel like they wanted me to believe I had enough parts to build 6 complete decks. What I found was enough trucks to assemble only 2 additional decks, not 5. I do think this is a cool toy and my kid loves the 3 decks that he can actually play with but, I can't help but feel slighted by the packaging and that bums me out.

I got the set with the space theme. I thought I'd a set with the monsters, which I liked. I only found out from reading the reviews after I'd thrown away the box that they'd assign random designs. It's pretty misleading. I won't recommend getting this.

Product arrived a lot earlier than I expected. Designs were not what I expected but I like these ones better! Its a bit of a shame because I bought them for extra trucks and nuts but these will make fine additions to the collection!
