So many of the pens are several inches longer, which makes them cumbersome to use and carry. The slide selector seems solid. The one thing I don’t like is the wire used on the lead, is too stiff and cheap.

Works as expected. Very handy to keep around, does not take soace like a regular meter does. Could keep in your pocket while diagnosing electrical work, prettt handy. Have not had the chance to use it on a regular basis

Really nice meter, I was looking for something i could carry in my pocket in case I need to check if fuse is blown or just to verify DC voltage (this meter can also check AC as well). Found that it is super easy to operate and even has a small light in front to illuminate where the positive lead makes contact (not really strong but it helps a bit)Definitely better then the non contact pens which only detect presence of voltage and for the same money this is much more useful,I use this meter for quick checks on robot controllers, just to make sure that fuses are good or wires are making good contact or what ever else...Trust me, once I know we have electrical issue I get the Fluke DMM to actually troubleshoot the problem but for all the initial checks this one beats them all!

Seems to be a nice enough meter and will serve my purpose, however I was highly disappointed that it did not come with a cheap enough single CR2032 battery.

This pen digital meter appears to be a near replica of the Hioki brand - which is my standard for such gadgets - and it is a third of the price. I have used this All-Sun on an almost daily basis for the past 4 months. I keep it on the kitchen counter with a few other tools for fixing household gadgets that go wrong. Its readings are very reproducible, and compare almost exactly with my other meters, on checking batteries and button cells, and measuring resistance of things like toaster elements. It is lightweight (86g), has an overall length of 19cm and seems solid and well built.The positive electrode has a red protector but it is not attached to the body (the Hioki is better in this respect) and is easily mislaid. It can cause a painful jab if you put it into a pocket without the protector. It would be ideal if it had a little pouch or clamshell box.Overall, this meter is very good value for money and I definitely recommend it.

Good for the price, a simple, easy to use multimeter. For basic troubleshooting, measuring voltage, amperage and resistance. Not intended for sophisticated electronic troubleshooting such as finding bad components on a circuit board. The instructions are in Chinese however if you have any any experience with a multimeter in the past, using this device is pretty easy to figure out. Set the slide switch to the function, i.e., voltage, resistance or amperage. Then push the button to select AC or DC in the case of voltage or amperage, or for resistance, diode or audible continuity tester. It is autoranging, meaning that there is no selector to choose a range (0-1, 10, 100, 1000) of volts/ohms/amps, it automatically selects the correct range. Quick and easy to use for general basic electrical troubleshooting.
