Installed these per the directions onto a brand new Toyota 4runner. I cleaned the glass with alcohol, and dried it thoroughly, to be sure the adhesive would stick. Very first day, the passenger side fell off as I drove down the interstate. When I got home, I tugged on the remaining one and it came off in my hand very easily. It would not have lasted very long if I didn't do something.So, I used a razor blade and peeled off the original adhesive from the back, and replaced it with some 3M trim mounting adhesive tape I have. It will not fall off again.My advise to anyone buying this junk: Do away with the included adhesive right away, and replace it with something that will prevent these from falling off.

See that pretty picture Amazon has of the nice, thin, GLASS blind spot mirror? Yeah, well that's NOT what you get. False advertising. Look at the Amazon "2 Pack" picture and then look at my pictures. See any difference?What you get instead of the advertised glass is the common, rough aluminum framed, scratched & distorted, polished metal disk that one can get for half the price at any car parts or big box store. Really irritated with this and as they're already stuck on the mirrors, I'll use them until they inevitably fall off. Giant FAIL Amazon.Note to Amazon: If this actual glass product is ever available as shown in the picture I'd like to have it.

I am not one to write bad reviews on a whim. I am honest and am a very positive person so please take this review from that standpoint.I purchased two sets of these because the ones I've purchased locally are plastic and do not stand up to the heat of a Texas summer...they melt. So when I saw, "Glass" and "Aluminum housing" I was quite pleased and quickly ordered them. Got them today, opened the box to literally see the cheapest, "Far East nation"-made, plastic garbage I have ever seen (of this type of product). FAR inferior to even the cheapest store-bought ones I could not believe how pathetic these things are. Within 10 minutes of opening the box I had a return-shipping label printed to send them back.My recommendation: DO NOT BUY these...unless you're good with over-paying for something that isn't worth the blister-pack in which they are packaged.You've been forewarned...

My previous stick on blind spot mirror was constructed of a plastic mount with a plastic film mirror, which disintegrated in about two years: the plus was the mounting adhesive. It really took some effort to remove the old mount and clean the adhesive off the cars rear view mirror for the replacement to be mounted. The new, much better, construction is a metal bezel and glass mirror, with mounting adhesive.Time will tell if the mirror stays in place ....

These small mirrors make all the difference if your towing, or. . Just cruising around town. They give excellent sightline for your passengers side or the drivers. Glass makes all the difference. The only caveat is the double face tape that's supplied with the set. I replaced the tape after one fell off. And once I changed the double face tape to 3M extreme outside double face tape and wipe the mirror with alcohol first before you attach the mirror and make sure it's where you want it and slowly press it against the clean mirror. And since the 3M double face tape is just like you welded these on. On so well, you'll have a heck of a time removing them, but since there is no reason to want to remove them , it fine. Good quality product at a great price. But buy the 3M tape and put it on first thing.
