nice set of mats and runner, we use them as back up place mats for when ours get messed up by the kids. the table runner looks nice on our table, its got about 100mm (4inch) of banding in the centre which helps to keep it 1) in the centre of the table and 2) makes the fruit bowl look like its supposed to be there. Generally easy to clean but it does clog up with bits of whatever the kids abuse it with. have thrown it in the washing machine a couple of times now on a cold wash and its come out just fine - no frayed edges yet
