Good IPR rebuild kit see my TIP!
When I replaced my HPOP with an upgraded one I also wanted to completely clean my IPR sensor and now my unit is functioning properly and all refreshed. This kit contained everything I needed. HELPFUL TIP don't tighten down the tin nut if replacing your HPOP until you make sure that your sensors pigtail wire can reach the sensor. You may have to rotate it before tightening the nut. You might also want to purchase a new sensor plug-in gasket. Mine was destroyed with age and exposure to oil. This kit needs to start including this electrical gasket.

I ordered this IPR re-seal kit for a backup plan… and it saved the day. The “Motorcraft” IPR that was described to be a direct replacement for my 2001 Ford Excursion 7.3L diesel turned out to not be… wrong thread pattern. So, I was able to use this Alliant re-seal kit to rebuilt/repair my original IPR. There are several YouTube videos to guide you. I would definitely purchase this kit again.

Note sure of quality
Disappointed with the IPR Valve Seal Kit for my 7.3L Ford (1994 - 2003). The metal spacer included in the kit felt noticeably lighter compared to the OEM part. The cheapness in material and weight difference raised concerns about the durability and reliability of these replacement parts. In crucial engine components like these, the noticeable disparity in weight and quality is disconcerting and doesn't inspire confidence in their long-term performance. A better focus on manufacturing materials and quality control is essential to match or exceed OEM standards, ensuring the reliability and trustworthiness of the replacement parts.
