AWESOME! Holds Exhaust Pipe
I have a vehicle that was loud and I could tell there was a hole in muffler. I ordered this tape because I didn't have time to replace the exhaust system. Received the tape next day and got under to find the rusty exhaust pipe broke. Aligned the two pipes and wrapped with this tape. The tape stuck well and held the pipes together. The car sounds normal now and surprisingly held after 2 weeks with highway driving.

Great for stove pipe leaks
Used it to seal seams on my woodstove pipe and it is working great. Actually surprised at how well it's working as I thought maybe the heat would destroy the adhesive but after some very hot fires in the stove (500 f at times temporarily) the adhesive has held up and we have no smoke leaks.

Im giving it 4 because it is foil and it is tape and thats what they sold me.... To anyone reading who thought this was "exhaust/muffler tape" no it is not some special exhaust tape...its literaly hvac foil tape. Its thin its aluminum foil with glue on it...dont do like me thinking this was made for that leaking talepipe you got its just regular foil tape

Excellent
I used this on a gas water heater vent and it hasn't burned off. I would rate this as some great tape that stands up to it's claims. I would definitely buy it again. I've used kind of tape for the past 35 years and this stuff is great.

Tape is great !
I'm a disabled widow that was sold 04 Honda pilot , interior was SoOo clean thought hey here's our break , wrong!! This dude looked in my eyes and told me NO lights on dash , zero problems, recently realized there eno spare !!! I wrapped the rustrot on subframe ! Tape was great !!!

Good tape
The Aluminum tapewas just what I needed for my heatet duct work. Easy to work with and priced right too.

Didn't Hold Up
I bought this to try and anchor an exhaust hose on a portable A/C. To be fair, the A/C heated up quite a bit. The heat melted the tape after a few days and the exhaust hose popped off. It is probably more a reflection of the unit than the tape as duct tape did the same thing. I expected a professional tape to stand up to the heat better but it wasn't meant to be.

Good stuff
A good heavier gauge of foil tape,good and sticky and heat resistant. I got it to use on my crappy car exhaust that had burned right thru the 3m foil tape i tried. Stucl right to the rusty muffler hadnt burned thru,been on over a month. Good stuff.
