Love these lights! I tested them out of box and made a 1 step mockup out of a cardboard box to determine the best height off riser. I found 4" rise above tread and spaced on equal centers delivered maximum tread illumination. Easy to install with a 1" holesaw. Daisy chain connectors were a snap and dressed cables with screw anchored tie wraps. I needed the 5 wire extension cable set as my 15 treads are split over 2 sets of stairs. I've tried these on many different colors and the stairs are easy to see. I did not like the app at all.. seemed overly intrusive with use of a choice of China or European server (sure) and it doesn't work directly with Smart Home. Rather than install the app I used a Smart Home compliant smart plug that I keep ready for lighting like this. I set schedule with Smart Home app then make light settings using the included product remote. When the light is powered off it remembers the last setting. I don't see this as a bad thing considering I only change the colors for holidays, seasons and special occasions. The first set of 5 3m extension cords were delayed and still haven't even shipped. I ordered a second set of 5 2m cords which arrived in 1 day and will return the first set. Both of these cord set indicated that they were in stock. My pictures are not "doctored up" in any way as some of the critical reviews suggest. I do strongly suggest performing a small sample test in the actual or mocked up location before you invest your time unwrapping and installing them.

The lights were easy to install and fit in the holes securely. The bezel around the light was of good size and could handle hiding some imperfection if your drill wobbled a bit during install. The lights can be a bit blinding in the dark when going up the stairs, but going down the stairs they illuminated the path well. Home assistant support most of what the app did from what i could see and only took a minute to integrate. One of my flange clips broke off, so be careful not to put too much stress on them during install. Overall very satisfied and would buy again.

Quick easy to install. Brings life to dark outside house. D31 1” drill hole (little dimmer) is a bit small. So change to D45 1 1/8” drill hole (little more brightness)

Lights were easy to install. They work great. The only issue i have is that the app is frustrating. Whenever I make changes to the color, it turns the white light on with the color. It is the same with the themes. I'm able to shut the white off with the color setting but not with the theme settings.

Bought these for a porch light. So these only come on when my main lights are off. It puts out enough light to see at night. I don't use the colored features. I have it set up on a smart switch so it's off during the day and at night if my porch lights are on these are off and if the porch lights are off these are on. So far they have ran ever night from about 10pm till sunrise. Not any issues out of them. They are pricy but worth it.

These are really super deck lights (the D50 model)! They are bright (1.5 watt LED), very well made (appear to be powder coated aluminum) and totally sealed so rain doesn't penetrate. They were pretty easy to install in the aluminun posts I have. You drill a hole, install the spring clip brackets and the lights snap in securely and can be removed easily as needed. The extension cables also worked well. I used them between most lights to place them where needed and made no slices of the wires. I control the lights, including dim level, with the phone app and Alexa. My only concern was the quality of the screws provided to install the brackets. they broke easily but enough were provided that I had no problem installing my 28 lights. Installed the light on my deck and worked well for a month, and then it stopped working. It is outside the return window and so it cannot be returned. Also, came with only one remote. Called Amazon to explore options, and they suggested reaching out to manufacturer, and This company is based out of China. Have been trying to reach them for a week with no response. Even if they agree for a return of the product, I will have to open up my deck to remove the light and wiring, which is going to cost me more. I am between a rock and a hard place. Any suggestions? Overall, very disappointed with the whole product and the situation I am in.

I got this lights in a small box, Didnt realize its actually the item, Opening the box I saw small lights , bunch of wores and a power supply. The lights work like a charm and I havent used them longer than an hour as I wouldnt think this would last long. This isnt like the ones in Bunnings or hardware store where its made to be durable but at 2x or 3x the price. I would buy this product again if it was the same price I bought it. Now past coved-19 price has gone up 3x and its more expensive than your local store.

This manufacturer has a lot of light size, wattage and lumen options. I bought the D31, which are are pretty bright. These lights illuminate and connect as advertised. There are 10 lights that come in this pack. They were well packaged and easy to open. These lights were perfect for installation on my deck surface and steps. They provide a really bright light for such a small light.In summary, great buy. Great lighting and solution for lack of lighting. Very good construction. And easy after the first one is installed. These are absolutely great. Really improves the safety.

Bought two sets for my deck. I haven’t had time to install them yet. I text them it seems to be working fine. Obviously I can not comment on the durability. I just hope it lasts a couple of years or so. 🤔
