Splendid sherpa blanket! Soft, well sewn (the layers do not slide against each other), thick and heavy. Color/size true to picture/description. Came faster than expected. Recommended!

We give this a 5 star rating. We read many of the reviews for this blanket and read about the pilling problem. We went ahead even though a little concerned about this problem and took a chance and purchased 4 of these to cover couches with and use for snuggling with the dogs. Well first wash they did pill alot and pilled worse when we put them in the dryer. A mess. Out of the dryer we brushed them down and were worried about the second washing if it was going to be like this again. Second washing they came out fine but we did line dry. They were great. Held their beautiful color and velvety feel and look like new. So all is well, just love them. NO one that comes into the house can walk away from them without feeling them and commenting on their beauty. We purchased the dark green and they are indeed beautiful to look at and so soft and warm.

The softest and most comfortable blanket I ever had. Not to mention the colour which is so well represented on the website (I got teal but I have been eyeing the black on with the inside black sherpa). It is a bit too warm for me, but then I keep my apartment very warm to start with. It is beautiful to sleep in, and just as beautiful to use as a bedspread. I then received as a present a sherpa lined blanket sweater with the same outside velvety soft finish. It is really luxurious. I am just so happy with it and you will be too. It is affordable and can easily be given out as a present to anyone really. Children and adolescents love it to wrap themselves in.

I cannot say enough good things about this blanket -- it's simply lovely! The minky fur side is very soft and the fleecy plush side is very warm and also nice and soft. It's a good weight: not "weighted blanket" heavy, but also not super light. Very medium weight, but perfectly warm due to having two layers. I originally ordered two for my home: a black queen size for the master bed, and a black twin size for the games room sofa. My husband has tactically acquired the twin one for his napping sofa, and he's so cozy wrapped up in it that I don't have the heart to take it back. So I ordered more: a twin lavender for my own napping bed and an emerald twin for the games room sofa. (I have a lot of napping spots in the house -- we have four cats, so they're always in demand.) I also ordered an emerald queen size for my best friend and a slate blue queen size for another best friend as Yule gifts this season. It's that blanket: the one that everyone who appreciates softness and warmth will love. The price point is very affordable for the high quality. I've had the original two blankets for over a year now, and they go through the washing machine every couple of months. They wash up beautifully, and still look like new. I swear they get fluffier every time they go through the washer and dryer. Highly recommended!
