I ordered these earring backs to replace the normal backs for stud earrings. I had a scare where I lost an earring when I accidentally ripped the back off while removing a mask from my face. Thankfully, I found the earring but it made me realize the backs were not secure -- and the possibility of losing my expensive diamond and opal studs drove me to look for a way to secure them better. These earring backs do just that. Plus, they are way more comfortable to wear than normal earring backs and they leave enough room on the earring post to ensure your earlobes do not get pinched. Protect your $$$ earrings! Highly recommend, especially for the price.

I was really nervous about purchasing something like this on Amazon. My diamond ear ring fell out and by the grace of god I actually found it. I needed replacements because the originals were too loose. These are secure and I’m confident. I’m really happy.

PERFECT!! Works awesome on all the earrings I have used on so far and that includes my screw backs diamonds :) Sooo effin’ happy with this purchase. My earrings no longer dangle they have a super secure feel and sit nicely in my ears. I have tiny ears, my ears are pierced twice with not much space between each piercing. These backings aren’t bulking, my earrings do not rub or get caught up with each other, earrings front to back sit nice and straight :) Also, I have uber sensitive skin anything nickel or custom jewelry make me break out terribly, not these earring backings. I have had no allergic reaction I have been able to wear daily, showers, workouts and in the hot summer humidity no issues. I trust with my expensive real diamonds :) These backs really make your earrings sit nice and pretty!!

I had to return these. My hubby got me some real pearls for my birthday. I wanted secure earring backs for them. I have been on the hunt high and low. These backs seemed great and had high reviews. They hold to your earring post through a plastic/rubber tube that is covered in metal. This seems secure, but one of my earrings kept sliding easily through the tube and I would find it on the pillow in the morning. The other one never moved, so maybe I got a faulty back. They come in two colors, silver and gold and are in a nice little plastic case, rather than a ziploc for shipment. I'll keep looking because I really want to wear my pearl earrings!

I liked the look and how they handled. I was really hesitant to order without actually "seeing them up close," but I was so tired having to remove the backs of my earrings from one pair to another. I'm am extremely happy with the entire purchase.

I lost my original backs that came with my beloved 18k white gold, 1ct princess cut studs & I had to find something quick so I could continue wearing my earrings! After tons of research on diff backs, I decided on these partly bc of the good reviews but also because they almost look expensive even tho I spent less than $10 on 3 pairs!Yes, I’m happy with this purchase, pleasantly surprised that they actually match my earrings really well considering they’re silver plated & my earrings are white gold.I've been wearing them for over a week now everyday & they’re very comfortable & secure my earrings well & they haven’t caused any bad reactions to my overly sensitive skin and they haven’t turned my skin green whatsoever! Would def recommend to anyone needing replacement backs to their earrings!

So far, so good. My diamond stud earrings did not come with very secure backs and replacing them through jewelry store was not fruitful. Stems seem to be thinner than normal and backs are never tight enough. I bought some $50 "locking" backs which were ok. I was always checking them to see if they were close to coming off. I had a scare the other day so I bought these. I was skeptical thinking they'd be too loose but after putting them on, they hold like glue! These are some magical backs.

I have a very thin white gold earrings that are diamond that all the backs I had were too loose and the back fell off.
