Q: Is the dark red more of a red wine like the picture?

I’m not certain about the wine color. The rug I ordered is gray. I can say that gray is exactly as the picture showed.

Q: Does this have the funky blanket like material that bunches up in the wash?

No…. It is fluffy and soft . Kinda like a shag carpet . I never ended up washing it . I set it out side for a couple days , sprayed it with refresher and it was good to go . It is slippery on the bottom , takes some getting used to .
