This small bookcase/narrow table turned out much nicer than I expected. Delivery was prompt. Packing was perhaps slightly excessive but protected all surfaces very well. This appears to me made of solid wood, and the finishes were without defects. Assembly was straightforward - a total of eight bolts needed to be screwed in with the included hex wrench. The product description is unclear about the dimensions. They are approximately 24" in height, 31" in length, and 14" in depth. The middle shelf can move without having to unscrew or disassemble anything, as it rests on small brackets with pegs that you push into preexisting holes in the legs; there are three possible positions for it based on the preexisting drill holes. The legs had whitish plastic bits installed at the bottom, presumably to prevent the scratching of floors. I would have preferred not to have them there and to install felt pads myself instead; perhaps at a later point I will remove the whitish plastic bits. I was a bit unsure about a price of about $155 for this item, but the quality turned out to be quite satisfactory.

I had a lot of books that were unread and wanted to separate them onto a small bookcase in a reading nook to encourage me to read. This bookshelf is perfect, it fits exactly under a window in my bedroom with a lounge chair next to it. It is very sturdy, attractive, was reasonably priced, perfectly matches my bedroom furniture, and my husband said it was probably the easiest thing he has ever assembled. It was also packed extremely well, no missing parts, either. Every time I step into the bedroom and see the nook area, I smile--thanks, Amazon!

REALLY nice bookshelf. Solid and well worth the price. The "cherry" color is a warm brown cherry - NOT a red cherry. The bookshelf arrived with very sturdy packaging and padding. All pieces are well finished and have no scratches or mars. The unit is very easy to assemble with simple, clear, and understandable directions. I'm a +70 woman and had no trouble (and no help!). The middle shelf is adjustable - a nice touch. Really earns a 5-star rating.

Love this! Well made. Solid wood construction and no plywood or MDF boards. Well finished. Excellent value! Using this as a table between to rocker recliners. This is a beautiful piece of furniture. The finish on mine is lovely. Do not hesitate to buy one!

I like the color (labeled espresso, but with a dark red tint) and the solid feel of the wood. Top of the shelf sits 9-1/2" below my bedroom window sill. I have a large spider plant sitting on top and am very pleased with the look. I caught the item on sale for $33. This was an exceptional deal at that price.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Ordered it for my home office to keep by my desk. The finish matches perfectly with the cherry of the desk. It is sturdy, well made, and just perfect. I would order from this company again.

I have a small rowhouse (auto correct tried to change to townhouse, but my house is a hundred years old and is located in the city, it's a rowhouse). I've been looking for a shelf with these approximate measurements for years to hold my TV, DVD player, and a few books. This is perfect. Its beautiful, exactly the right size, and sturdy enough to hold a 40 inch tv

When I bought this I thought it would come to the bottom of the window... a bit shorter... well made and matches my other furniture very nicely... just thought it would have been taller.
