Beware, you don't get what's advertised. It is not shiney stainless steel, it looks more like a dull nickel finish. I bought this to use in my trailer shower and it does not blend well with the other stainless items installed. Still a good product though.

compact fm elbow
As described. The benefit compared with most other alternatives is that it is compact. We have a pipe placed vertically close to a wall. Other elbows were too large to turn when screwing them into the existing pipe.

almost straight threads
They're etched "NPT", but they have shoulders for washers. I think this is an attempt to work both with NPT and BST, and it doesn't quite work with either. I couldn't seat them to another stainless fitting, but they worked fine on a plastic male accumulator tank thread. Usable, but not everywhere. Please, somebody get out a micrometer before you stamp it NPT.
