Easy to custom size
This was perfect for my application and fit the rollers like they were made for it. I’m using this for a bicycle roller which is a platform that has three drums spaced apart so your rear (drive) tire is “captured” by two drums spaced apart rollers and another drum that the front wheel rides on. You pedal like you’re riding down the street and use your balance to stay upright. This durable product is easily cut to length by stretching it slightly and cutting with a razor blade. Then you put it around the groove of the rollers and heat the razor blade with a butane torch and push each side against the hot blade and slide them up and hold them together while they fuse together for a stretchy, easy attachment. I particularly like the stretch ability of the product. Not too stiff and not too loose.

Excellent
This belt is oversized for the pulleys on my 9x20 lathe but let me tell you, I put a 6” 3 jaw chuck on the lathe and it works great! No squealing, I can do all operations including threading. Very easy to splice together, I use a heat gun and it’s strong. I have a more powerful lathe with less money than the original belt. Can’t wait to use it on a tool post grinder.

Great stuff!!
I got lucky when I found this. I have a number of antique player-pianos and arcade machines. One of the pianos has a belt that drives the roll, and it was just getting worn out from many years of use. It is made out of thick, round leather and I was having no success looking for a replacement. The closest thing seems to be leather belt meant for Singer sewing machines, but this is a fair amount too thin. This stuff is amazing. You just cut it to length, melt both ends with a lighter and push them together until they harden. I was Leary at first that it would hold up, but it is unbelievably strong. At first, I cut it just a little too long, but it was so easy to cut about a half an inch off and reattach it. I'm sure this will be useful for other things later. It's available in different thicknesses and also either smooth or rough. The rough style seems to be perfect for this application, so it won't slip when in use.

How well it stays together
So far I am pleased with this product, I used it to fabricate a belt for a 70 year old metal lathe. With all the belt manufactures making it difficult to know the actual belt length. This product makes it easier to get a machine running again, also saves time and effort just installing a belt.

Great fix when no one makes the belt you need.
I couldn't find the two 20" narrow belts I needed for a 1950s Black & Decker valve grinding machine. I purchased both the 6 & 8 mm belts. Both work, but wish they made this in 7mm. Following the directions, these are very easy to melt together and I tugged pretty hard and couldn't pull them apart. I used a soldering gun with a round flat attachment to heat both ends of the belt at the same time. Quickly, I mated both ends in a V-block which perfectly aligned the joint. Then I used a bench grinder to grind the joint flush. We shall see how long this belt lasts. If you can't find the right size belt for your application, this is a cheap fix. I would purchase again.

Very pleased with the result as an option when original drive belt is not available.
This review is for Beduan PU Transmission Round Belt 6mm OD High-Performance Urethane Belting Green for Conveyor Bonding Machine Dryer 16.4 Ft. The length of 6mm diameter urethane belt was delivered on-time, complete and as described by the seller. One of the two drive belts on my pool-cleaner had broken. I contacted the manufacturer who had no parts available and I was unable to find a third-party equivalent, toothed, flat belt of the same dimensions. During my online search I came across this customizable round belt at a fraction of the price of products similar to that I was seeking; I ordered it thinking that it was worth a try as a temporary solution until the manufacturer’s part becomes available. The Beduan belt arrived next day and I eagerly got to work. The surface is not smooth but is textured so, even without teeth, I figured it would provide sufficient traction under tension. It is also somewhat elastic so, with a suitable belt length, some tension can be generated. I cut a test length with scissors and used the open flame from a butane torch to melt the ends before fusing together. It took a few minutes for the urethane to harden and I found it helped to hold in place by hand over a flat surface during hardening. The excess material was removed using a fine grindstone. I was impressed with strength of my test loop and proceeded to measure/cut a length for the pool cleaner, then fused/cleaned the ends and fitted it in place. The pool cleaner has just completed a 2-hour cleaning cycle and appears to be working well with this belt. I am not sure how long this fix will last; for now I am very pleased with the result.

Worked for me.
Worked pretty good for one of our machines. Seemed harder to weld than whatever other brand belt material we used before but it did work good.
