Very sturdy tailgate pad with the easiest install
I have a 4 bike carrier for my hitch, but sometimes its just too bulky and sways a bit more then I like at times. The reason that I chose this product was for the ease of installation. The way you mount it is by threading the webbing down the gate, not UP like most. One person can easily do it. The c-clips are genius for making things easier to cinch. I have 2 trail bikes with bottom tubing that works great with this pad. Also I am able to close my tonneau cover with the pad installed which is a big plus for me.So now the bad things. I wish they used some felt on parts that touch the frame. Its not a huge deal for my bikes, but for expensive carbon it may leave marks over time. I wish it had 4 straps instead of 3 because the strap blocks my camera and the flap is not big enough for my Ranger. The width is a little too wide because it interferes with my latches if I try to open and close with the pad installed. Oh and whats with the stupid name???

RIDEKAC. REALLY?!
5 stars because it fits my Frontier right and it is what I wanted for a reasonable price. Although I considered taking a star off thanks to the marketing genius who decided to call this brand "RIDEKAC". Lol.
