Queen of Dragons

I had so many expectations for this book, the tittle made me believe we were gonna have an adventure filled with action, battles, magic and mayhem.... We still got those don't get me wrong but I was just so frustrated with the first half of the book with Rory falling in trap after trap and her enemies getting the best of her. Thankfully the ending managed to right all those wrongs and I'm ready for the final book now.

Once again we find the store where we are knee-deep in intrigue and enemies are around every corner. I was highly shocked at the addition of some unknown player. I am just happy that I'll girl and her harem live to see another day. I love this story and these characters they are amazing and real. I appreciate seeing how the interactions between Rory and her men change and grow deeper. The action in this book is so intense and not everybody lives but we honor the Fallen. I can't wait for the next book!!!

I've really enjoyed the series do far but the story is sadly starting to drag. It's the same struggles just with different people. There's little to no progression with her magic...still after seven books she continues to struggle, the relationships with her men just don't seem to be deepening but maybe it's because the story is only from her point of view. It just seems stagnant and I'm not sure if I'll continue with the series.

The story continues as amazing as the prior books. Fantastic characters and storyline. Bravo. Can't wait for the next one!

Loving this series. Rory and her guys are still fighting the good fight against Diesel and Kinsley and anyone else that needs their butt kicked. Needed allies will be found, new enemies will appear (like they needed those!) and Irena will throw in a surprise or two. The war is not over and more powerful enemies are on the horizon, but Rory will be ready for them as she finally starts to accept her role as Queen of the Dragons.I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author.
