First, thank you to other reviewers who took the time to write about this press. Their input helped me make this decision. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and can no longer use other squeeze type lemon presses and have difficulty with hand washing items. Based on the comments, I expected this press to be easy to clean - and it is! I pop out the press metal sections, flip it over, gently rotate the domed portion of it while holding it upside down and it pops out; rinse, wash, dry. Easy. I haven't had any issues with sharp edges when cleaning it daily for the past month during a bad flare up and cranky hands. The handle of the press will stay up on it's own. I don't see a 'locking' mechanism, but it will stay up if I forget to put it down after removing the press portion to clean it after use. The handle can fall down if the surface it is on is bumped, but I have accidentally left it up overnight and in the morning it is still up. Never had it crashing down on my hands while trying to switch out lemons. I highly recommend this press.

Easy to use and with little effort.

In traveling to Greece I saw a similar juice press in a commercial juice bar. This is a very sturdy unit that could be used in a business application but for home use it will last forever. It works for many fruits but my favorite is pomegranate. It is also easy to clean up after juicing. Great product!

This thing is fantastic. Super simple design and extremely effective at getting every last drop of juice. We use it often for the usual oranges, lemons, limes, and even pomegranates. And it's the best tool I've found for key limes. Well worth the money if you do a lot of squeezing.

I purchased one of these juicers. It was too large for the available space in our kitchen. Upon submitting the return, I was charged to return it. I'm losing over $10 on this item. Don't recommend purchasing anything from Lumland, Inc. Inconsistent with normal Amazon customer service. Also the box was never opened. Very disappointed.

Quickly and easily gets the juice out. It does take some strength so may not be good for those without a strong arm.

I bought this, because I moved to Yuma Arizona. There is tons of fresh citrus of every kind. Nothing better than fresh citrus juice. The juicer beats squeezing juice by hand.
