Good product, I would buy again
I currently have older stainless steel Farberware (with the copper bottoms). The set I have is approximately 30 years-old, and I was wanting to purchase a new set of pans for my kitchen. My previous impression of Farberware was that it was a reputable company with high quality products. I saw this set on sale (regularly $200, on sale for $74). I thought I may have hit the jackpot...awesome pans, awesome price, awesome company! In my opinion, no! Not exactly! Well, we often get what we pay for...seems to be the case this time. Pans seem flimsy, not at all the high quality of my other Farberware pans, or some of my aluminum Magnalite pieces. The Farberware pieces are smallish and light (some people may like this), The cooking pots are a lot smaller than I am used to using, and will hold a lot less than my older set. The fry pans are very small compared to my other Farberware fry pan. The size of these fry pans in my opinion will service: 1) Small pan - fry an egg. 2) Medium pan- warm up a corn tortilla, or saute an onion. 3) Large pan- saute an onion, and a green pepper, and maybe a prepared bottle of spaghetti sauce from the grocery store; or cook two small pancakes at a time. Overall, I am very disappointed. The only thing I do love is the glass lids, they seem high quality. I purchased the aluminum non-stick set. The set I purchased has the brown overlay over aluminum. Back in the 1980's my grandmother had a similar set (not sure the brand - but they were brown overlay over aluminum, and were nice solid high-quality pans. In my mind, I thought this Farberware set might be of similar quality, and might be a newer version of the same pans, but they are not). I have not yet cooked with the set, I just opened the box, but at first handling, I am disappointed. I would recommend this set for a single person or couple who doesn't cook much, or cook for others much, as the food holding capacity of the pans is limited. Even for $74 value, I would be hard pressed to purchase this set again. I am thinking of eating the cost, and sending the pans back, and paying the $25 shipping fee.A few days later...On the advise of my family, I decided to keep the cookware. I even cooked with it. Perhaps I shouldn't have been so hard earlier. Cooking with the product was great! Clean-up even better! Review still stands at three stars for smallness of pans, and my first impression of flimsiness.UPDATED REVIEW: I have been using these for a few months. I have grown to like these pans, so I wanted to revise my initial review and upgrade to 4 stars. Nice pans, not the highest quality, but not the cheapest quality either. Clean-up is the best I've ever had. Both the inside and outside of the cookware. Don't use metal inside. I hope these last many years!

Fanfreakingtastic cookware set
The pots and pans we had were getting old, scratched, worn out, pitted, and some had small chunks chipped out of the bottoms. They needed replacing. Cookware sets are either incredibly cheap in price (and quality) or incredibly expensive. I found this set on sale for a good price and rolled the dice. They are great for me and my family. At first they looked a lot smaller than my older sets but these have thinner walls and the pots are a little taller instead of short and fat. Very durable and strong, I've had them for several months and they have held up fantastically. No dents or dings, no scratches, no discoloration, looking brand new. They get hot very quickly and have even heat distribution across the entire surface. The pots and pans have a textured cooking area across the bottoms that help with heat distribution and keeping foods from sticking. No oil, no sprays, nothing sticks but I usually use a little bit of butter or a quick splash of oil anyway since it adds flavor. Water boils a lot quicker in these pots than in my older ones. It took a couple mistakes to learn that I need to use lower heat with these than I was used to using.Easy to clean, durable, even after getting dropped I haven't seen anything - not even a sight scratch in the color. Which, the bronze / copper / brown-ish color isn't all that bad. At first I thought it was going to be kind of ugly but it's really not. The lids fit great, there is a rubber(?) sleeve on all of the handles but is fairly short so use pot holders. The plastic spatula and spoon are nice little extras, pretty durable and hold a bit of weight before flexing. If you need a complete set of pots and pans this is a great all-in-one set to buy. Takes a little getting used to, depending on what you're replacing, but a tremendous value and incredibly high quality. They are thinner, they do get and stay hotter and faster than other brands. The nonstick and scratch resistance is very high and they're incredibly easy to clean. A quick rinse with the kitchen sink hose and hot water gets most everything off of them so you don't spend much time scrubbing.Highly recommended, probably would make a great gift too

Best Pots I have ever purchased
No matter what I cook in them they don’t stick and are so easy to clean they have survived many washes in the dishwasher. I would definitely purchase these again. I will say to be careful what spoons you use in them .. I use the rubber utensils or plastic .. they are pretty as well !!! You won’t be disappointed

What you get
I’ve had this product for over a year and it’s not what it used to be but then what is. Durability is good but the inside is already wearing. I guess for the money that I paid at the time ($99) just over a year is what you get.

Heats up fast!
I was finally able to throw away my old set. This set heats up so much faster! This was the most important aspect for me. The quality is evident. It's well constructed, light weight and easy to clean. An excellent set that I wasn't sure was going to live up to the expectations. I purchased the bronze color and love it.

Watch out -
The product is good. However the pans were much smaller than I expected. My bad, because I should have read about the dimensions. Just don't expect them to be standard sizes.

Love this cookware!!
I bought this set a couple months ago. The beautiful brown colour caught my eye as that is my kitchens new colour. I usually only buy t-fal but no farberwear has a great reputation & I have some of their other products. I love this this cookware set. Cooks evenly, very light to hold , non-stick, colour is beautiful!! Great Quality!!! So glad I got them!! Now when I did order I did get a bent frying pan & lid wouldn't fit big pot right. I called Amazon instantly sent a replacement set as I am sure the company would of. Didn't stop me from trying cause come on anything you buy you might come across a defective one no big deal just depends on how the company backs their products up! Plus has a great warranty! Well very satisfied customer here!! I say try it I love mine!!!

Beautiful colour!
So far I love this set. The colour is beautiful and really adds sophistication to the kitchen! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that I would've liked to see a more "medium" sized pot in the set and a larger frying pan. The small and medium are too similar in size.
