I really like this skirt. It is my last minute attire to match with any color top. I wear it with a petticoat, and its fabric is so light that it opens up even more when I walk. It is also easy to clean and the fabric has withstood a good few washes and ironings without losing its nice color. The pockets are the cherry on the cake. One on each side and decently sized to hold a phone and even a small snack (I have a toddler).This skirt fits in the small category of functional and elegant.

I like this skirt! It's a reasonable length, not too short for what I was going for but also not too long on someone as short as I am, not too tight in the waistband, the pockets are glorious, and it looks adorable on me! It's great to wear to work, since it adheres to my workplace's dress code while being loose enough to be comfortable while doing physical work and adding some air flow that is much appreciated. My only issue is it's not the texture I expected it to be, the kind that makes a funny rustling noise when I move, but it's not big enough to be a huge problem to me.

This skirt is so cute and comfortable. Nice color for all year round of course tights and boots in the winter. It slightly thin and see thru. The fit is great for me, 5'5 155 M. Nice deep pockets that are smooth. Its not puckering out adding more to your hips.. I received a lot of compliments. Overall, so cute.

This is a very pretty skirt and it fits beautifully. Can’t wait to see how it flows after I wash it. Love that it has pockets too! Very happy with my purchase!

Update-Update: So I bought yet another one of these (Da*mn you Amazon, I should be able to review each color, especially since they are different materials!!!) I bought the "Red Floral". First, the background color is not white, it looks more like a dingy, dirty off-white. I was thinking this would be perfect for fall, but I can tell you, this dress is see-through BOTH the front and back side together when you hold it up to light. That's right, by grabbing the each side of the waist band and holding it up flat, I can see through 2 layers. This dress ABSOLUTELY NEEDS A LINING. If you have a slip with details on it, it will show through. The color is a deep orange-red, and there is not quite the variation of color the picture depicts. It's pretty much deep orange-red and brown on a dirty white background. Not the lovely print and good fabric I was hoping for. This one goes back too. Be careful what you buy. Some are great, but there is no way without a lining this dress is worth more than $30---Belle Poque be scammin' or dreamin'.Update 7/19/22:I just ordered 3 more of this skirt. I got the dark red solid, the red and navy plaid, and what I thought from the pictures was a pink/mauve plaid. All 3 plaids are the same material as my first review of the green and black plaid below, and the flannel feeling material. Even though it pilled a bit, on the green and black plaid (my first of this skirt), it's not really noticeable when I am out and about. I think the same will be true for the red and navy.HOWEVER, THE "PINK PLAID" IS NOWHERE NEAR PINKISH MAUVE AND CREAM COLOR the picture shows. It's dark red and tan. So disappointed in Belle Poque, because the pictures are NOT accurate with this one. I already have the solid dark red and the navy and dark red plaid, I don't need another dark red skirt. I wanted a pink plaid to change it up. This one will be going back due to false advertising. I hate the way Amazon only gives you only one review, even if you buy several different skirts. It's BS. I want to give the bad description skirt 1 or 2 stars, but the others are 4 to 5 stars. So...beware and look closely at pictures.Also, the solid red skirt is a thick polyester. It's fine as far as the material, however, the color is an odd red. It's not a bright red or deep scarlet red, but almost a deep tomato red (with hints of rust and orange in the color), which means it does not go with most red things. So finding accessories to match will be a nightmare. They should keep this details in mind when they choose fabric. Most people would want a bright red or scarlet red, which would give them more choice in terms of tops, sweaters, jackets and shoes. Now I have to buy some other thing to match this skirt. After the off colors of the "red floral," and the "mauve" plaid which is really burnt red and tan, and now this off color, that's three article of clothing that nothing will match. So even though the price is OK-ish, it's now expensive, because I have pay out more to have something to wear with these skirts, because I can't very well just wear the skirt alone with my bra out in public. Pity.Original Review:I have gotten several compliments on this (black/dark green plaid) skirt. It can be worn very high on the abdomen or at mid waist, because there is some elastic in the back which makes it versatile. Size chart is accurate, so take your measurements. But it's a flannel like fabric, and somewhat heavy, so it's definitely late fall, early spring and winter attire. Plus, it's already pilling just a little. You can only see it at this point up close, but I dread it may get worse. I just wish this skirt was a bit shorter. I am 5'7" tall and it hits me about 7" from the floor. It would be a great retro, 1950's look if it were tea length. I may hem it. I was hoping I could wear it late spring and summer, but it's too heavy for that. A crinoline really dresses it up, and I can say, with the correct layering a good long coat, it's really warm for cooler climates.

I got this for a snow white disneybounding outfit and it's perfect!! The material is thin and flowy without being see-through. I like that the waist is stretchy but form fitting; it's very flattering. The buttons up top are a nice touch, though they'll mostly be covered for my outfit. It's a versatile skirt and could be worn for just about anything, and paired with lots of different styles. Very happy with my purchase!!

I have always said I was born at the wrong time. I have always like more vintage styles in everything. I love this skirt! I have a high natural waste. I also have immflamation in my abdomen. The waist fits grwat at my natual waist and has enough flare where I swell. Plus, pockets! Not the small girl clothes pockets, but a nice size poctet. I wore this to cantor mas and it was so comfortable. It is a lightweight fabric, so I will wear year round. It is my new favorite!! I got this striped one because it was much lower price. I see getting another in solid in the future.

I absolutely lived in this skirt this summer. It is so light and flowy and I loved the fit and pockets. I ended up buying it in black as well but still wear this one the most. Please come out with flowy pants in this material!There are only a couple of small downsides. First, dirt/water etc. shows up very easily on this colour/material. Second, the length is not super flattering on me, but I was willing to forget that based on how comfortable it is :)

Great for vacations, packed it in my suitcase and it didn't wrinkle. Plus it is super comfortable and has pockets! Wear it all the time.

Gorgeous skirt. And it has pockets!The quality of the fabric is great, the colour is rich, and the elastic waist means I am not worried about bloating.

Although it was brown it was a much lighter shade than chocolate brown which is shown in the listing.
