I am close to 80 years old and I have had about every brand of vacuum on the market. My last vacuum weight 16 lb. and was hard to manuver. I saw this Eureka power speed model NEU180D which was 10 lb. and said it had great suction, with a turbo brush. I am so glad I got it. I have 3 large bird cages with 2 finches in each of 2 cages, and 2 parakeets in the 3rd cage. You can imagine how much dust and feathers can get on the floor and furniture. Well the vacuum was delivered today and I just used it in 3 rooms. I love it. It has the longest cord of any vacuum I have ever had, I love the wand that detatches from the vacuum and you use it with all the attachments. It is light, Great suction on carpet and bare floor, easy to manuver, holds a large amount of trash in canister, wich is easy to empty and clean. It is very sturdy, and I think the quality is very good. It is a solid 5 stars.

Love this vacuum. Even works so well picking up all the hair from my Huskies! Other brands and vacuum I’ve tried usually break down after awhile. It’s nice and light, with a long cord length. Easily cleans up on hardwood floors and tile as well. Good sucking action. Easy to clean!

I have used bagged vacuums my entire life, so I was very hesitant to buy a canister vac. But--hard to argue with the price, and I needed a vacuum with a hose that would work well on hard floor. This is great on all counts.Pros:--Great suction (like many other reviewers, I tried it on a freshly vacuumed floor and it pulled up soooo much dog hair and dust).--Works well on hard floors.--Has all the attachments you might typically need.--I haven't noticed my hair collecting around the brush *yet*. I have long hair and shed like a dog, and it typically wraps around vacuum brush rolls in a way that is VERY hard to remove. It has been about a month and there's minimal hair buildup on the roll.Cons:--The pet attachment is useless. Entirely, completely useless, since the roll is powered by suction. Don't buy this for the pet attachment.--The attachments don't fit super tightly, which is annoying when you're applying pressure. I like to vacuum that little crack between carpet and baseboards and the skinny attachment has to be held on to the hose.--The hose is SHORT. A little longer if you use the handle extension, but still very short. You need to have the vacuum right next to whatever you're trying to reach with the hose and attachments, and your range is only 12-18 inches if you're applying pressure, 2 ft if you aren't applying much pressure (like using the dust attachment on baseboards).--Personal pet peeve...I have long hair, and wisps get sucked into where the hose meets the vacuum when I'm using the hose, because stretching it leaves crevices. It even catches loose pieces from a braid. Very annoying, but probably won't affect most people.

I am really pleased with this purchase! After reading multiple reviews about several vacuum cleaners, was looking for a carpet and wood floor vacuum - and chose this one. This unit is easy to assemble, and instructions are good. First use today - 3 height settings (there are 5).First setting - medium carpet setting works great, even with a bit of baking soda sprinkled - picked up every bit of dirt and the baking soda; best to go at a slow to medium pace - not fast - just regular style picks up more dirt.Second setting - low carpet - with another sprinkling of baking soda (full box in a medium room). This took a bit longer (maybe 5 minutes), but it picked up all dirt and all baking soda - just have to use a slower pace for a thorough cleaning result.Third setting - stairs with carpet - low carpet setting - the detachable handle with upholstery tool attachment - works great and easy to use. With the detachable handle and additional accessories, a hand held vacuum is not needed - this works just as well! Maybe not as convenient as a hand held vacuum, but it works well.Last step - be sure to empty the dust cup - very easy to detach and empty from the bottom. One more plus - super light - easy to carry or tilt back and push on a hard floor. I'll provide additional updates and photos with more use such as a hardwood floor. Overall - very impressed and it looks great, too! I would give this vacuum 6 stars but 5 is completely fair!

Holy MOLY! This vacuum is phenomenal. I felt like my other one wasn't working great so I bought this one. The price was great especially for the quality! It's easy to use and has amazing suction power. Just pop the canister of and drop the waste into the garbage can, super easy to clean. It's lightweight and fits nicely in the closet. I was shocked to see what it pulled out of one room, it had to be years of dust and pet hair that my other vacuum just wasn't powerful enough to grab! I highly recommend this vacuum for the price and effectiveness of cleaning power.

While the vacuum had great suction and worked very well, it broke on me within a week. I used it as recommended, but when I turned it on one day, it smelled like burning/fire and then wouldn't turn on anymore. I did get a full refund from the company, so I will say their customer service is great.

Great vacuum! 1000 times better than ALL the BISSEL’s I’ve purchased in the past. Much stronger suction, gets much more from carpets, is sturdy and feels like it’s not going to fall apart. I like that the handle can extend to different heights. I like how the compartments are set up to hold the extensions. I love it!!! Not heavy.

The vacuum does what it suppose to do. Strong and steady, until the filter ( fine filter) gets full and then you must change out the filter or clean it.The arm attachment should have been done better, instead of being completely separate from the whole.It’s really bulky, not heavy, just bulky.
