Last one lasted five full years; great value for the price v OEM cost
I put this same master window switch in my 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier 4-door sedan in 2017, and it lasted five full years; great value for the $25 price v ($200+ ?) OEM price. This switch gets a lot of usage everyday, on all 4 window . Just started acting up on last week on only the front passenger window and then on Monday at the dog park that window was down and wouldn't move up at all. Thinking I'd have to cover the gap in plastic for a week. So it was either the window motor and regulator unit, or the master window switch. Ordered them both from AMZ immediately that Monday morning from the dog park: the switch was next day delivery (Tuesday) and the window unit was 5 day delivery (Saturday). (When I got home, the window finally came up, and I covered the switch for it with blue painters tape to avoid the habit of using it.)Replaced the switch Wednesday in 5 minutes in the parking lot of the dog park, using one medium flat head screwdriver. Probably could have used my Leatherman SKELETOOL multipurpose tool. (Good timing, as on the next day, a no-name storm dumped 5" of rain in my neighborhood over 3-hours, with wind gusts up to 50 mph.) All works and feels like new now. Side by side, I could feel the wear and sloppiness of the rocker switches in the old, 5-year old unit. Will be returning the window motor unit tomorrow, thanks to AMZ's great free return policy.ADDED 12/23/2022: My review above was posted today, so I went ahead and read all the other reviews. One thing that comes up fairly frequently is that the new switch did not work on one window. Odds are that it is that window's power motor and regulator assembly is shot and needs to be replaced. Or that window's own up and down switch. To know for sure, you need to use a meter or light to see if the window is getting power when the master switch is pressed on. Power window assemblies wear out over time. It's a lot more work, especially the first time, to replace a power window motor and regulator than it is to replace the master window switch. I'm a DIYer, but after the second time, I can replace the power window motor and assembly on most cars in less than a hour. So, don't blame this new master window switch for not working right, until you also check if the window itself is defective.

Great Value
Mom's Lincoln Town Car (2005) had the front driver window master switch unable to roll down, but it did go up. After verifying the wiring was correct, I saw that this car had MANY issues with the master switch going out so decided to buy it. Works and looks just like the original! Glad I could get it fixed!

Switches don't make good connections.
I put this switch set on my 2004 Lincoln Town Car. A lot of the times the driver's window switch doesn't make a good connection and I have to tinker with it to get it to work. Just today I experienced the same thing for the driver's side rear window. They do work, but it's hit or miss. Fortunately I've only had problems rolling the windows down. They work great for rolling the windows back up.
