Q: Do these panels make your room hotter?

No the panels will not make your room hotter.

Q: Can I tape it up or have to screw/nail it in

While its possible to use tape/screw/nail into it - we do not recommend it as the Elgato Wave Panels already come with the EasyClick Frames setup that come with tesa adhesive strips with screws and anchors included. We recommend using what is provided with the EasyClick Frames.

Q: Do these panels generate heat?

Nope! The Elgato Wave Panels do not generate any heat whatsoever. They passively operate in acoustically treating your room, and do not connect to a power source. If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out via support on Elgato's website.

Q: Would I need to cover most of my big wall with these in order to notice a difference?

I did 2x3 config it reaches from1 end of my desk to another. If price is no object buy these but they are roughly 1ftx1ft 6 to an order. I only use the six to stop the reverb of the wall behind my monitors there is a noticeable difference in my audio.
