The media could not be loaded.  It’s a very pretty unique knife! It caught my eyes when I searched for new knives. The waving pattern is great!As for cutting, it’s not “super sharp”( like “little touch could cut deep” sharp), it’s good for vegetable cutting, which is perfect for me. And the handle is sturdy and easy to hold as well.

Most nights, I'm the chief cook at our house, and have been for years, so we have a good number of kitchen knives. We take good care of them. We own a quality knife sharpener and use it periodically. Having said all that, most daily cooks love to have a new knife at least once a year or so. We want a reliable, go-to knife that's handy especially for precise cutting.So, for example, I uploaded a photo of my slicing onions for a salad in which I want wafer-thin, see-through slices of onion. I laid one slice on the blade, so you can see the thinness. I also enjoyed the feel of this knife, its balance from hand to cutting board, and the pleasure of slicing various vegetables with effortless pressure.I'm giving this knife 5 stars not because it's the best knife I own, but because it is reasonably priced, I obviously like the design and the quality of the blade, and of course in this case I received it free for review from the Vine program. However, I would definitely pay the suggested retail price on Amazon to get another one.Depending on your priorities in knife shopping, do pay attention to the description of "Damascus Pattern." This is not true Damascus steel, nor does it claim to be. It's got a swirly Damascus-looking pattern on the blade, apparently to seem stylish if you care about that detail.Overall, I'm pleased to have this in my knife block now. And, yes, I would also pay the retail price for another one, maybe when I'm ready to add another knife to our collection.
