First , kudos for getting the cap to me ahead of time and in pristine condition. The cap arrived inside a cardboard box with the cap enclosed in a plastic bag with authorization form if for any reason you need to return it. I had lost one of these caps, and wouldn't you know it , I located it. Now , I have two caps and I'm ok with that. The cap is said to be 100% wool...feels like it to me. Inside the cap is a red satin protective lining.Good fit and finish . The cap I found was one I've had for several years and that one is still in good condition. I am pleased.

It looks very nice and quality is good. However it was oversize by 1/4 inch diameter and had to be returned. I will ordrer a new one.

I agree with Amazon customers who've said in their reviews that this cap is a very fine one! The hat band says it's made in Greece and the material is mostly wool (75%) and the rest is nylon. I also agree with Amazon reviewers who said it would be an even better cap with a leather headband (or sweatband) rather than an acrylic one. But that's nit-picking. It's still an excellent cap and I highly recommend this one if you want a Greek Fisherman Cap. The major problem I had with ordering it was in trying to decide what size I should get. Reviews for it made it a confusing decision as some said it was smaller than expected and others said it was larger than expected. I normally wear a 7 1/4-size hat but I measured my head with a paper tape measure in the area where the headband would be when the cap was on my head. The result was 23" - about halfway between 58cm and 59cm. I went with the larger size (7 3/8) and that was the right choice for me. When I got the cap and put it on, it was a perfect fit! But I need not have worried about it being too big because the cap maker provided a 6" strip of sticky tape (one side is adhesive and the other side is foam) one could use inside the headband to get a slightly snugger fit. And if one strip of tape isn't enough, the company will mail more at no charge. I didn't need to use the sticky tape but will keep it in case I need it someday. Oh, and the company has some strict requirements for return if the cap doesn't fit (DON'T REMOVE THE TAG!). So if you order this cap, when you receive it, try it on for fit BEFORE you remove the tag. I'm enjoying wearing my cap and I hope you enjoy yours if you order it!

loved the look and the quality of the item , well made. needs a size chart on the site to help with ordering, had to return mine , waiting for it to come back . no way to contact the seller, no email on here and amazon has no place to respond to the seller about the size, only why i don't want it, didn`t help because I want the hat , just in the right size. had to say amazon dropped the ball on this one, with their ask a question bot.

The quality of this hat exceeded my expectations. It has a beautiful silky lining and is very warm. I only wish I had ordered one size up. My head circumference is 60 cm. I ordered 60 cm (7 1/2), but it is a little too snug although it looks fine to everyone else. I should have ordered a 7 5/8. Maybe I will exchange it after I see if it fits better after a haircut.

Love this thing

Been wanting this style for some time. Went online and found one in wool at a great price. I ordered a 7 3/8, but it was too small. This cap came with an RMA so there was no time lost in the replacement dep't. Now comes the really good part. I took the cap to the post office but declined insurance-never again. The cap never made it. After about a week I called about my replacement and after a brief conversation, the man sent me the replacement with only a slight chance of ever seeing the original cap. So yeah, there are still people like that in the world. And it is a great cap! P.S. THIS WAS THE SECOND ITEM RETURNED AND 'LOST' BY THE USPS. The other item was sunglasses I found on Newegg by universal exchanges. As with the above mentioned cap they were too small. Because U.E stalled about an RMA, I just thought they didn't look too hard in their returned items dep't. So I'm out $19.99 because they don't do business like GREEKINTERNETMARKET. But then again not many do. Finally if you're mailing, C.Y.A. and trust GIM.
