I bought this skimmer to replace an existing Jacuzzi skimmer on my in-laws above-ground pool. With the use of a technical drawing I found on-line, I was able to determine it was a match in both size and screw hole location. I found the unit to be well built. The screws that mount the face plate to the body are self tapping. Before the actual installation I pre-threaded each accepting hole two to three threads. That made it easier as you are in an awkward position during installation. Also, because the pool is round, I began with the two horizontal center screws and worked my way out to the sides. All went well, no leaks. However, if this was a new installation, I may have gone with the regular width skimmer, making it easier to install on a round pool.

Fit perfectly for my semi-inground pool
My old skimmer was leaking and I needed to replace it, for some reason my local pool store only carried a weird shape of the skimmer that did not fit my semi-inground pool. For 20$ more I found this Hayward brand skimmer. Very happy with the quality.

Everything you need in one package
Great kit to replace a skimmer. If you are installing a new one, you will need valves and other parts, but the kit is worth the money.

fits my pool great, the only problem i had with it was the insert for the pool vac, it is hilariously useless, but you can easy just plug the end the vac hose directly into the bottom of skimmer so doesn't really matter i guess
