HP Multifunction Printer, White, One size

Love this printer! I think it’s works great for just some at home printing! Initial thoughts were it looked very sleek and not bulky. It has a minimalist look to it. It hides well in my alcove and doesn’t stick out which is always a win! It was super easy to set up. I just followed the instructions on the app it asked to download. The ink was really easy to add in and there were only 2! Which made it miles defo.. gone are the days where you’re adding multiple ink cartridgesI tested out a print page and although it wasn’t really fast I wouldn’t say it was slow. The quality of the print was definitely a 10/10 and loved how there was a tray to put paper in and it slides in. I have had printers in the past where the paper sits at the top and it doesn’t look as tidy, so that was definitely a pro. The app is VERY straightforward to use and the printables options is really good, so I’d definitely say it’s good for the family. My daughter had a lot of fun choosing images to print out and found it exciting watching it print out and come to life. The wireless option is amazing, I normally have documents saved on email so to quickly used that and my phone to connect to it made this very simple, fast and convenient. The scan option was very easy to use and at a press of a button I had the document saved on my phone. The ink subscription was easy to set up and I chose the best option according to how much we printed, it was good to have a choice as I did not want to run out and then wait for the cartridge to come or have a pile up of cartridges which can’t be used. I even got a Pre paid envelope to put empty cartridges in which is really good the environment and shows that they’re a sustainable company. Overall I’d definitely recommend it for family use when you don’t have a lot of pages to print on a regular. It’s sleek and minimalist design is a bonus as well as the ink subscription and wireless connectivity. The app is straightforward to use and I’d also recommend it for those that feel like they’re not that tech savvy as the prompts are easy to follow for ease of use

Really excited to test this printer as a replacement for my HP 2600 series which is very basic. Very pleased to find when I took it out of the box that it fits on my printer table so I didn't have to re-arrange my study! Very easy to set up wirelessly and all my computers - main desktop downstairs, two laptops upstairs and my phone have been able to connect to this printer with ease. However, my main PC now keeps telling me the printer is offline which is not true as I can print straight from my phone so I know it is online, so something for me to 'fix' when I have a minute. So, the good points: 1. Automatic double sided printing 2. Document feeder - brilliant as it is so useful. 3. Crystal clear printing - both colour and greyscale. 4. Borderless printing - useful for all those photos. 5. Scans to pdf with ease 6. Copies - colour or greyscale 7. Easy to load A4/A5 paper in front tray 8. Easy to fit/replace ink cartridges 9. Pretty noise when it is telling me it has finished a job! 10. Print from anywhere (pretty well) functionality Not so good points: 1. The printer status light is always on - various colours telling me all is ok, or there is a problem, but if one is using the HP instant ink service (which is good) then the printer should remain turned on all the time. Therefore the status light is on all the time and it is quite bright *see just above the paper tray in pictures). This is not energy efficient, nor very 'green' in light of global warming! It is my only irritation with this printer and think the light should go off after say 5 mins of being idle. Maybe there is a way to set it to turn off, but I need to speak to support about that as there is nothing in the quick start instructions. All in all, I am very pleased with this printer and would highly recommend it if you do a fair amount of printing at home as I do (I'm a vicar so always printing service sheets!). Another winner from HP!
