I''ll let my wife review this, I don't need expensive skincare products - what's wrong with a thick application of petroleum jelly every day, huh?!I'll start with the exterior - the packaging looks good, and the bottle design looks expensive, which is what you would expect for a product in this price range.Retinol helps with collagen production, so it helps your skin to keep looking younger, and reduces wrinkles. This isn't an instant results product, it takes daily use to make a difference. It also contains a variety of other oils, which help to keep skin soft and moisturised.The idea with a serum is that you use it after cleaning but before applying moisturiser - so directly to clean and dry skin.It's pleasant to use - slightly oily but it soaks in well.You can use retinol in the day, as opposed to a glycolic acid product which should only be used at night (glycolic acid increases skin sensitivity whereas retinol does not).So in theory, you can use a glycolic acid product at night, and this in the day under your moisturiser, giving your skin two applications of a collagen stimulating product a day).So far I haven't noticed much difference, but as mentioned above it's not instant.Price? Retinol products aren't cheap, but this is more expensive than many. Ordinary retinol serum is half the price. But maybe it works better - only time will tell. I love retinols and have used them for a long time as find them so effective at seriously evening out skin tone and healing recent red marks/healing spots and light recent surface scars - this is the pretty standard dose and it's an effective amount with consistent use.The added vitamin E, Argan oil and Jojoba oil are all products I also already use on my sin which are all great for hydration and plumping and together these all make this a pretty rich/oily serum - this isn't the kind that sinks in quickly and you can easily then put a night cream on top as it would be too heavy for me, it needs to be massaged in a lot even if you only use a small amount. This is great for adding moisture and really feeding your skin on that front but might be too heavy to then have a night cream on top if you suffer with easily clogged pores.As I didn't want to give up my night cream but consider this enough on it's own as both a serum and moisutriser I put this on early evening around dinner time and then remove at bedtime to put on my night cream. I've been doing this for four weeks now and even though I use a lot of treatments on my skin I can very easily attribute this to a very noticeable additional improvement in my skin tone, clarity and plumpness - it;s actually one of the best retinols serum blends I've used and I'm definitely going to get more as it's a great price too considering how far it goes, so it;s an easy recommendation for me but just be warned it;s very rich/oily!

The product has very minimal aroma, certainly nothing floral or perfumy - maybe just a very slight hint a bit like olive oil.However, this is basically an oil and I do not want to be rubbing an oil into my skin. I want products that are going to take excess oil away from my skin! It wouldn’t be very good to use it in the morning as the oiliness wouldn’t be a very good dates over which to put your foundation and makeup.If you wanted to use this product, you’d probably be best to use it at night but I’m afraid it’s not really one for me.

I had not heard of this brand before but I liked the sound of the product despite the rather odd brand name! It is a anti ageing serum, which is made in the UK, and designed for all skin types. It contains Retinol and Squalane which are well known for their anti ageing properties. It also provides a barrier against environmental damage to your skin.The serum comes in a dropper bottle which means you can use the correct amount each time. I apply it after cleansing and toning and before moisturising. It has a pleasant, non greasy texture and is easy to apply. It made my skin feel quite soft and smooth. It didn’t take long to absorb, so no waiting around before applying make up.I would say that this is a good serum but not one that stands out from the crowd. The price is reasonable for a serum of this type and it does have a lot going for it but it’s not spectacular. Having said that, skincare is about personal preference and is often driven by budget so I think it is worth considering based on those factors.
