Pricey But Well-Made & Worth Every Penny
Worth the price, something you will want to take care of and keep for a long time.Nice features:-- Lens material is thick & solid, no distortion, not flimsy plastic often found in cheapie shades.-- Frame is very solid.-- Side pieces are extendable, slide in and out for a comfortable fit over your ears.-- Nose rest is nice and wide, no pinching. Appears to be replaceable, will have to check into that.-- Comes with nice firm semi-solid clamshell case with large D-ring carabiner for clip , cleaning cloth, optional storage bag and a repair tool (maybe used for replacing nose rest, lens?).I initially tried these out while driving in grayish overcast conditions during mid-day, what an improvement! Noted that glass and reflective metal surfaces of on-coming vehicles had this weird dark yellowish tint. Even though it was overcast, enough sun was leaking through to cause a bit of reflection off car windows. These glasses filtered that right out; instead of being blinded by the glare off the windshield of an on-coming car, I just saw this darkish yellowish shading effect. If the surface was not reflecting sunlight, then you just had the normal yellow tint of the lens. I'm not explaining this very well, hope this makes sense, it's not really a problem, just a little weird until you get used to it.On the other hand, these glasses were intended primarily for night driving, maybe you're not supposed to use them for daytime driving; I don't see why not, seemed to work well in gray / overcast conditions. These are NOT your typical sunglasses, they use a specialized lens best suited for night driving.

The glasses have metal frames and are comfortable to wear
I see halos around lights because of cataract removal. I had to stop driving completely at night. The glasses reduce the halos around lights especially car lights at night. The glasses have metal frames and are comfortable to wear. They come with a nice soft case. My night vision is not perfect but because the halos are reduced, I will be able to drive by myself. Thank you for a great product for me.

Road trip companions
I love to drive. By choice, most of my trips begin about midnight, and I drive from "can" to "can't" as the saying goes. Having the yellow lens polarized helps with oncoming traffic, or with masses of lights along the roadside. I used to wear yellow lens during foggy days on the water, and learned to rely on them for safety. They brighten the world at night, and even in the daylight, without letting the glare get to my eyes. Now that I have been diagnosed with macular degeneration in one eye, I'm ever more conscious of protecting my vision.I bought my first pair (of this brand) in early spring, then gave a pair to a friend, and bought a third pair for my husband who liked mine. They are strongly made, and wrap far enough that no glare distresses me from the sides. They are light weight and put no pressure on my nose. I do not have trouble with "stars" when I drive at night, so I cannot say if they reduce this driving problem.Another benefit of the yellow lens is in wintertime they turn brown grass very fresh and green like springtime. I have no experience wearing them when it SNOWS, however, so you are on your own there. South Alabama seldom deals with snow.

They are okay - Not great
I used to use a very cheap polarized night vision set of glasses. They did a great job of helping with headlights but being cheap, it didn't take long for them to break. I bought these for their obvious durability. They are definitely durable. They don't do as good a job on headlights as the cheap glasses I had before but they are adequate. One gripe I have is that these glasses darken your vision which means that everything other than headlights is harder to see. I'm not impressed with them. I'm not recommending these glasses but it is entirely possible your experience with them could be better than mine.

I really like these glasses
I really like these glasses. Since turning 40, glare from oncoming traffic has become a real problem for me while driving at night. My sunglasses made it too dark to be safe. These glasses do darken the view, but not too much to compromise safety. For me, they make a big difference. I don't have to squint or shield my eyes anymore. Blinding headlights in the rearview and sideview mirrors are no longer a problem. These glasses, worn during the day, work really well too. They make everything look more vibrant. My eyes are sensitive to sunlight. A minute or two without sunglasses even on cloudy days will give me a headache. These glasses protect my eyes like my sunglasses while making the landscape much more vibrant.-Michael

Good value
The price was good I wear these because of a bad TBI from a accident I was involved in and driving at night was very difficult because of other headlights
