Ethics for the Information Age

Delivered in time. A good book for college students.

The other did a good job on this text book. There are many real world scenarios included in the book as well as a break down of each scenario from the perspectives of various ethical theories. Many textbooks seem to drag on and take forever to read, but this one used easy to understand grammar and the scenarios mentioned in the book are relevant and fairly recent. This textbook explains the topics well enough to understand from the first read through of each chapter. This book was required for one of my courses, but was pleasant enough to warrant a review.

I had to get this textbook for one of my computer classes in college. Easy to read and take notes on. However, it IS a textbook, so it's pretty boring, and I barely opened it.

Rented this for a class and it was in perfect shape. It was really cheap and the book has great information.

There are no electronic / supplemental resource codes for this book. There's no benefit to getting an unused copy. For a textbook, the writing is engaging, and Quinn uses a consistent approach to examine contemporary issues. There are times where the author simplifies issues a little to illustrate a point, but that's in service of his application of the ethical framework that he uses to examine the issues. I'm bothered by how much the publisher charges for this paperback, but that's a different issue.

This book opened my eyes to what we as a world are missing. I rented it but if it ever goes on sale I would buy it.
