Seki EDGE603- Folding Lash Pin Comb

This is the neatest product I never knew I needed! I was shopping for mascara on Amazon when this appeared as a suggested product. I've been wearing mascara for about 40 years and have never even heard of a lash comb. The reviews drew me in, so I had to give it a shot. I was immediately surprised by how much better my eyelashes looked. They were separated better and they actually looked a lot longer! They even looked somewhat curled, and I don't own an eyelash curler. The comb opens easily and stays closed securely without flopping open. The metal comb cleans up easily. This is really a helpful tool and I'm surprised I never tried one before.

I love that it folds to protect its teeth, that way I don't pinch my fingers when trying to find it. Very easy to clean. Good product overall.

Worth every penny! I've always used the folding Tweezerman metal tooth eyelash comb (for $8-$10) and swore by it...until I bought the Seki Edge. The Tweezerman product is still 2nd best; however, my issue was always that upon repeated cleanings, the teeth would come out of the base and if I didn't lose them (and find them later with my feet) I would skewer my fingers trying to stick them back in their little holes. Also after repeated use, the folding joint weakens and the comb would swing unexpectedly threatening to skewer my eyeballs or eyelids. So, reluctantly, I spent the extra $5-$6 for the Seki, and I will NEVER go back!-First, when unfolding, the comb snaps into place, keeping it in the open position. When folding closed, it snaps shut, maybe with a magnet? and stays shut.-Second, the teeth do not come out of the base.-Third, the teeth are metal pins; but they're not dangerously sharp like needle points so- no skewered fingertips, eyeballs, or eyelids! Yet somehow, their points look just as sharp and separate lashes just as well, if not better than Tweezerman's.

It is an improvement from my previous comb. The fact alone that it stays open is amazing! But the tongs are too sharp, so be careful. Otherwise, it definitely works, you just need to be careful with the very sharp tongs. Tone it down a notch with the sharp edges!!

This comb (might) remove one mascara clump, but creates another right next to it. Let me say this so everyone can hear. "I'm an adult. I can handle sharp things next to my eyes. I'm more likely to poke myself in the eyeball struggling with a dull comb. A sharper knife is a safer knife."

Good tool. Did not help in my violin bow rehairing.

I don’t remember life before this! Perfectly separates lashes so they look like falsies. The prongs are Sharp metal- that’s how it works so well, but use with caution and a steady hand.

Amazing lash comb/eye lash separator! Fine Japanese quality, as expected. Perfect for using after applying mascara to removing any heaviness from the tips, which is never attractive. Well worth the price. Everyone needs this tool in their makeup arsenal if they wear mascara. And certainly, every makeup artist needs one of these in their makeup kit. Such a huge difference if you're applying multiple coats, as most of us do... mascara can tend to get clumpy at the tips. This is the solution! Be slow and cautious though, the teeth are fairly sharp as to work efficaciously. Clean after using with a clean mascara spoolie or whatever works best for you.
