PurePlex Colour 8.01 Natural Ash Blonde – 100% Coverage Nourishing Colour Cream with Aminofix to Protect & Restore

Not my fave colour but it did what I wanted. Before.My hair was part bleached then coloured with Schwartzkopf Bleach blond aka ginger ugh and had extra intense ginger at the roots and then some of my natural brown regrowth. The image doesn’t do the orange justice lolAfter.All the various colours blended into a natural ashy shade. My hair feels better than before and I had no scalp irritation despite the long development time.I would try one of the other colours at some point because I prefer a different look. More blond less light-brown.

This product absolutely saved my hair. I did a bleach bath to get a permanent bright purple out of my hair and ended up with orange hair and hot roots. I first tried the 10.21 lightest ash blonde which was far too light but COMPLETELY evened out my hair (no hot roots in sight!) However I did end up with some over toned areas which were a silvery purple. Wanting a darker shade and to get rid of the silver streaks I then bought this (natural ash blonde 8.01) and I cannot recommend it enough. My hair looks and feels sooo healthy. I will never use any other brand again. Also, the bond restoring treatment works just as well as olaplex.

I don’t usually write reviews but this saved me! I took the plunge and used a home Garnier blond dye during covid to cover my roots. My roots were really brassy / copper so I tried the very lightest ash version of this 10.21. Unfortunately it didn’t really lighten my roots that much and there was still lots of brassy tones all over my hair. However the blond parts of the rest of my hair went blue and lilac in some places even though I only ran it through the rest of my hair for a few minutes.So after researching I thought best go A bit darker. This has lifted all the brassy tones and left me with a lovely dark ash blond. It’s saved me!! The condition of my hair feels amazing ! The treatment that comes with it is similar to olaplex. This will be my go to hair dye now and I will stick to doing it myself. So much cheaper. I left on roots for 30 minutes and combed through the rest of my hair for 15 minutes as instructed.Amazing dye!! Highly recommend!!Left picture is the medium ash blond.Right picture is the previous shade, lightest extra ash blond 10.21. I left this on my roots for 45 minutes. For info , When this developer starts to turn blue it then starts to tone your hair. So only leave it on a few minutes if your hairs already light as you’ll get blue / Liliac highlights!

Amazing product. My hair was lightened pre lockdown in a salon but had started to go very brassy. I used this all over my hair, including grey areas and its amazing. Cover the grey and the red tones. My hair is so soft and shiny instead of the frizzy ginger mess! Just ordered two more boxes so I have stock!!

I was looking for a light shade that would reduce the gingery tones in my brown hair but not add too much colour as it tends to absorb dye and leave me with a much darker result than I'd hoped for, which can make it look flat and unhealthy. After placing the order I was worried that the natural ash blonde I'd chosen would be too blonde, but I'm glad I went for it now. It's lifted the colour beautifully and has hidden all the brassy ginger tones. My hair looks lighter brown and has a lovely summer look to it as if I've been sat in the sun. So top marks for the shade.Reading the instructions the 45 mins development time is a bit off putting and then there's the additional 15 mins for the treatment. However, the time you have to put in is worth it as the treatment does leave you with shiny, healthy looking hair and the colour is really natural - I was more impressed with the result of this home dye than I have been after most of my trips to the salon for a colour....The dye has a thick, creamy texture which is easy to apply as it doesn't drip. There's also plenty in the bottle so you get good coverage. I have quite long hair and I had more than enough with one pack.The dye smells quite strong during application/development, although I'm sure it said no ammonia in the description. However, after conditioning and drying it did disappear and there was no trace of that usual 'just dyed' after smell.Four star product as I do have some minor gripes - the applicator bottle is made from a really thick plastic so it's difficult to squeeze out the colour. The strange twist nozzle doesn't help matters either. I ended up unscrewing completely and banging forceably into the palm of my hand to empty it. The gloves weren't great either. They were very loose and flimsy and kept falling off.I'm not sure how well this covers grey. It seems to have lightened mine, giving the impression they are highlights and so look less obvious but if you were trying to cover a lot you may be disappointed. It would also depend on the shade used I guess.Overall, brilliant. As long as the colour doesn't fade too quickly I'll be buying again
