I got this to log data on my car, and leave the ODB2 dongle installed. The ODB2 interfaces i have are always on, and don't appear to sleep and power off when i turn off the car, and i was concerned they would drain my lightweight mini battery. I was unplugging the dongle when not in use, but was worried about excessive wear on the ODB2 port. With this i can just switch them off when not loging. Its also flush mount, so i dont worry about hitting the port with my knee. I wish the switches were color coded, it's hard at times to find the correct switch under the dash. I put different colored zip ties on each switch to fix that. I was concerned the wire gauge was too thin on this extension cable. I also don't think all of the ODB2 pins are extended with this cable. (other extension cables clearly show that all wires are extended for easy splicing) Happily that has **NOT** been a problem when using this cable for logging or reprogramming. I've even been able to use 2 devices at once with no noticeable issues. (only logging, i'm more cautious when writing to the PCM due to bricking concerns)

Built out of good plastic, doesn't feel cheap All 3 ends work fine I use it with a tuner, Bluetooth scanner, and GPS Tracker It was tight to plug into my 2017 Ford Superduty due to the cable coming off the top of the plug, but some convincing got the wire to sit nice and not be squished.

Connect everything you’ve ever needed to your OBD2 port and never have to unplug it.

Fit perfect and works as described. I have 2 OBD2 devices plugged in and working. Love that I can just switch them off if not needed.

This idea is great! Keeps my battery from depleting while leaving something plugged in the OBD2 port for long periods of time. It's plenty long, so makes access to the port easier than looking under the dash area for the hardware mounted port. I liked that there are two controllable ports, so another item can be plugged in at the same time. There is no indicator of which direction the switch is on our off, just a small bump but no markings stating on or off. Great value purchase.
