Perfect transmission fluid for My Nissan Maxima 2018 CVT
Perfect transmission fluid for My Nissan Maxima 2018 CVT I’ve used Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal Automatic Transmission Fluid on my 2018 Nissan Maxima, and it’s been excellent. After the change, the CVT felt smoother, with seamless acceleration and no hesitation. The driving experience became noticeably quieter and more consistent. If you have a Nissan CVT that needs frequent servicing, this fluid fits the bill. It’s convenient to keep on hand, works reliably, and the 1-gallon jug is the right size for a complete service without leaving you short. The pour is clean and controlled, which helps avoid messy spills in the driveway. I still recommend double-checking your owner’s manual to confirm compatibility, as some transmissions can be picky about fluid type. But for my Maxima, it’s been a great match. Bottom line: For Nissan CVTs that need regular maintenance, Castrol Transmax delivers smooth performance, good value, and dependable results every time.

Perfect for a Toyota Transmission Flush
I picked up this 3-pack for a full transmission flush on my Toyota, and it was exactly what I needed. The fluid works really well, and you can tell it’s high-quality stuff. Buying it in the gallon 3-pack is definitely the way to go if you're doing a complete flush rather than just a simple drain and fill it gives you plenty of fluid to get the job done right without running back to the store. My car is shifting smoothly, and the price for the bundle is hard to beat. If you’re a DIYer looking to maintain your Toyota, this is a solid choice!

Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Transmission Fluid – Smooth Performance and Reliability
I am very satisfied with Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT transmission fluid. It works great and helps improve the smoothness of gear shifts, making the driving experience more comfortable and stable. After using it, I noticed the transmission feels more responsive and quieter. It provides good protection and helps reduce wear, which is very important for extending the life of the transmission system. The quality is excellent, as expected from Castrol. It performs well under different driving conditions and temperatures without any issues. It also gives me confidence that my vehicle is properly maintained. Overall, this is a reliable and high-quality transmission fluid. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to maintain or improve their vehicle’s transmission performance

Excellent CVT NS3 fluid for a great price
The is rated NS3 for my 2020 Infiniti QX60 CVT. The Nissan stuff is ridiculously expensive in comparison. After the drain, refill and filters change, the car shifts just fine. At 38,500 (mostly freeway) miles on the car, the old fluid was quite clean and there was very little residue on the three magnets. I probably could have gone to 60,000 miles without issue, but I'd rather baby his thing since I plan on keeping it for 10 or more years total.

Smooth Shifting and Great Quality Fluid
This transmission fluid works exactly as expected. I used it for a fluid change and immediately noticed smoother shifting and quieter operation. It’s nice having a universal ATF/CVT fluid that works for multiple vehicles, so I can keep one jug on hand for different jobs. The gallon size is convenient, and the quality of Castrol products never disappoints. No leaks, no slipping—just consistent performance. Definitely worth the price for reliability and protection.

Another happy nissan rogue CVT owner
As for all of us, we all have our own stories to tell. My car has 80K on it and I've taken it to the dealer every 30k for the flush. Something happened during last years winter. The transmission was just shifting funny, no pickup, and then the whining sound started. Being its a $340 dollar drop taking it to the dealer to flush it. Talk about BS not having a transmission dipstick to check fluid level so it forces you taking it to the dealer. Here's a piece of info that is total BS i heard from the dealer. I'm paying them $340 dollars to suck the fluid out with a machine without even replacing the two filters inside the transmission. There's the main pan filter and there's another one that on the auxiliary cooler that goes to the radiator. Doesn't this make you wonder eventually the filters will get clogged up and cause the CVT to fail by overheating. I'm certainly no expert on this but I could be right on that one. Making a long story shorter. I told my mechanic about the issues and he said he would do the trans flush for $110. I bought the fluid and the filters. Boy, I tell you the car drives like new now. Shifts awesome and the car actually has balls again. This is definitely a good alternative to nissan NS3 fluid going for over $20 a quart.

RECOMMENDED
Best non OEM trans fluid for Nissan. NISSAN charges 4x more per quart. Works better shifting, and quiet.
