Rightline Gear Truck Bed Tent

I've only used it for one trip thus far - I'll edit this if I need to. It does what it says. It's very easy to set up if you take your time and follow directions (imagine that). Our first trip we encountered a very substantial rain storm on the first night which lasted hours. It had rained earlier (see muddy truck) but we got lucky with a break as we got to the campsite. I got it set up moments before another storm started. We set up the rest of our camp and had dinner, etc. under a tarp, as the entirety of the Amazon River was loosed upon us. We turned in late that night - dry as a bone, and woke the next morning dry, too. Condensation is always a factor with tents, and was there in the mornings - but the shelter absolutely keeps rain out. I can't speak to wind stability yet, but if (when) it happens I will edit. The zippers are small and seem rather delicate. I'm definitely taking my time with them, I'd prefer stronger zippers and seams. The tent is also very thin, and I can't see how the stitching doesn't rip - but it doesn't. This little tent is designed well, and so far it's pretty tough. So far, I'm very happy.

this is a well made easy to set up truck tent and fits my 96 ford ranger perfectly! highly recomended! However, if you own a stepside with the outer fenders the tent fits, but will not line evenly on the inside so the neat little gear bags wont hang evenly. great product otherwise! happy camper!

I spent a summer living in my truck and this made it so easy to set up anywhere quick. My gear broke down in my truck bed into storage containers, I'd whip this out when I arrived where I wanted to set up and I could st everything up from inside the tent. I wish there was a way to attach to the cab and crawl through from inside but it was fine as is. It didn't fir perfect but I had a smaller older model ranger and it was workable. Didn't use it in a whole lot of weather, just some rain. It was fine. I'd by it again for anther trip like that.

Great product! The only issue I had was that it didn't fully cover the bed of my truck (I wondered why it got so windy!), but the fact that I put it together at night may have been the problem there.

Easy to put together and put up. Fit our truck perfectly by following the product guidelines for what truck to use. I didn't measure our bed at all. Took us less then ten minutes to put up. Easy assembly and sturdy. Used it this past labor day weekend. Nice to not be on the ground.

Got this for our 2005 Ford Ranger. Can set up within 10 minutes. Very spacious! Now we can bring this along wherever we go and always have a place to camp!

Really enjoyed my first night in the tent. Got in late last night and found it easy enough to put up. I expect it will be easy to load the truck, drop the tent and just go. Definitely recommend.

Instructions leave a little to be desired as the real setup method differs from what you’re told to do. However, if you set this up a couple of times in daylight it gets really simple. It kept me nice and dry with a ton of room on my 93 Nissan pickup

It doesn’t stretch, the second time it was set up it ripped even while following all the directions carefully It’s not super thick, it does have the same material as a regular tent Can get very cold, I would recommend very warm blankets or a buddy to keep you warm I still use this tent even with the rip and the fact it is very lopsided and doesn’t sit properly sometimes not letting the door zip closed. I’m a little disappointed but you don’t spend that much time in a tent. Keeps the bugs out, it very spacious and wonderful to sleep in and set up once you get the hang of it.

set it up in my yard a couple weeks ago and it took about 25 minutes the first time around and fit's really snug on my 2008 Mazda b4000. was relatively easy to set up and take down. my favourite thing is i got it back in the bag without having to fold it and with very little effort. A+ design. the one con i have is where tail gate meats the truck i was left with 3-4 inch gaps that bugs could easily get in. overall i am overly excited to test it out. (if our snow ever melts)

Nice product. Fit was good for the Ford Ranger it was used on, and pretty easy to install and take down. Comes with a storage bag that packs everything nicely away when done. Great add-on for any pick-up that turns your truck-bed into a comfortable campsite without much fuss. Just don't forget to buy a pad(s) for your truck-bed to sleep on! * For those wondering whether this will work with a hard multi-panel tonneau cover, it does. The only drawback is that you have to leave the last panel of your tonneau cover folded down. At first, I thought this would be a problem, but I ended-up liking the result as the folded-down panel made a useful shelf in the tent (feet still fit underneath to sleep, head facing the tailgate).

Was hopeful when I received this that it would be as easy to put up as some of the reviews. It took quite a while and I had a bit of a struggle getting the tent poles into their tip holders. I left the tent up overnight (before I camped) in the hopes it would stretch the tent a bit. It took 10 mins to put up the next day, poles were still a bit tight but all in all I think this is a great tent for truck beds and would recommend it.
